how to fix? Game starts in (too) small window mode
I just purchased and installed the game.
Unfortunately it starts in some kind of window mode, but the actual game just uses around 2/3 of my screen, the rest of the screen is simply black.

My Problem is:
the window is too small, because i use a mac book pro 15'' screen.

It looks like this:

i didnt change any settings or anything. this problem occurs by default.
the steps so far i did were:
purchase --> install --> click start button in steam library

I think your graphics card is not scaling the game properly to full screen , see if you can change scaling settings in you graphics card to centered->full screen.

ya it looks like a bit of a problem for mac users but this is as you can see not the game's fault.
You will have this issue with any old game that does not have a resolution option aka airline tycoon 1 is always running at 640 x 480.
if i find a way to change scaling options in mac will let you know.
Try tip 2 in this

yap, already did that... but the game is still just filling up like 3/4 of the screen.
at least its playable this way, but still not perfect.

still i think its a problem the developpers or at least the publisher or whoever takes responsibilty for recently putting it out on steam needs to develop some kind of solution for this, since the shop site does not state anything about "do not play if mac os 10.9 or above", but even emphasizes they "now support mac and linux".

sooo... someone who took my money should come up with a solution for this asap.
but i appreciate your help a lot!

Old thread, but this was an issue for me and I found an issue - putting it here in case it helps anyone else:

Issue is that the 15" MBP has two graphics cards. The integrated intel GPU doesn't seem to support proper scaling, where as the discrete GPU does.

Before running the game, force the computer to use the discrete GPU. This can be done by going to System Preferences > Energy Saver and uncheck "Automatic Graphics Switching". Alternatively, you could install gfxCardStatus (https://gfx.io) which puts a menu bar icon for easy switching.

Worth noting, this will significantly reduce battery life, so might be worth popping back into system prefs to reenable auto switching when you're done if battery life is an issue for you.

Hope this helps :)
