Best Plane, whats yours?
Based on my experience, here is list of best planes on AT Deluxe :summerufo:

1. Boeing 767-300 ER (very high value, med to long range)
2. Airbus A300 (high value, med to long range)
3. Boeing 747-400 (very high value, very long range)

If you buy second or new plane makes sure buy those plane because of their very high value!
All low cost of fuel, long range >= 8000km, about 300+ passenger and 30t/40t freight.

I love the A300, it's the most versatile plane in the game I think. Only costs $28M (less if you have an advisor to lower the price) and it can carry 373 passengers and 37 tons of cargo. And the fuel consumption is ridiculously low.

I did buy a bigger plane for $56M, can't remember which one. It's definitely a Boeing 7-something. It's the one that carries the most cargo in the game (55 tons). Makes those 100 ton cargo jobs look easy.
777-300 is good for long range and cargo plus routes its got super fuel economy for the no of passengers it carries other wise my second choice is a300 super plane

763, A300, A310, DC-10, 773 for sure
my best Plane is the DC-10 on the Route: Rio de Janeiro - London

2 or also 1st the 777 (!) super High Passenger Capacity of insane 550 Passengers
3nd 767-300ER (super Fuel Save)

But i call the DC-10 First BECAUSE

you can earn sstable income with this plane in Early game without having much Money to invest in New planes, with a 2nd Hand DC-10 you can make good Income on the Route Rio de Janeiro - London

Remember: On high-demand Routes above a range of about 6000 km the Range of a plane beats its consumption,

For Example:

DC-10 is cheapest Airplane which goes above 9000km (!) where the A300 doesnt have the Range

+ the DC-10 is faster while A300 goes 850 km/h, the DC-10 goes 965 k/mh (!)

100 km/h more means you can make 1-2 more long range flights per week

For its Characteristics of range and Pax Capacity the Price (even of a new DC-10) is ridiculously low

even if it consumes 9000 fuel / hour 3 times more than the A300, it´s still high Profitable on high-Demand Routes, primarily on the route London - Rio de Janeiro

and DC-10 is Number 1 before (!) 747-4 because

cheaper, and affordable in early game if you saved some money for a 2nd hand plane

Wow thread 6 years ago.. are you guys still playing this? :summerufo:
I think we have different style and different fav planes. i love hunting last minute deals hehe, medium range fly. Rarely set long range regular routes, nice to know that it yields excellent profits.

based on my calculations - The A300 is the best plane a "score" from 12,57 which is a combination of kerosin usage, passengers and speed over 24hours.

so until 8000km: A300 (score 12,57)
until 9940km: 767-300ER (score 10,35)
until 10370km: 777-300 (score 6,63)

comparison the concorde hast a score of 0,39- which makes it more than 5x better than the space voayger. which is somehow a funny plane to watch at. but the most useless plane in the game. or at least i dont the its points.

A300 for fuel economy over far enough to make 400k+ profit on each leg of LHR-Delhi, 767-300 ER a close 2nd for profit with better range, allowing more flexibility in route choice while still earning almos as much as the A300 - DC10 can also make good profit and doesn't usually cost all that much. These three are the planes I try to snap up when the museum has them, with three on the go on the Delhi route you'll clear 2m profit a day plus, which lets you buy new planes fairly quickly, and as you add each plane you increase the rate you profit at..... I find routes are the way to go, doing orders gets you the few million to buy a museum plane after a shortish while, but routes provide good steady income that can be built on.
