Laptop bugged?

Some windows will remain on the screen yet will be unclickable and cannot be reopened (e.g. the flights page). Is there any fix for this?

This is actually an old bug. It also existed with the former versions of AT, not just Deluxe. I never figured out a way to fix it, but remember to save your game often. This way you might have a chance to roll back a few days ingame, before the bug appeared.

The window on the laptop will stay open but you cant click anything on it, like it isn't there at all. Opening the same window again using the selection will not do anything and not open a new window. You can use other windows (e.g. the info window). But they will not close the bugged one. This will remain during ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the game. I think I remember occassions where it disappears on its own but I'm not 100% sure.

It only remember it happening to me with the plane window, but I worked around it by just clicking on the planes on the globe to open a new window that you can actually use (causing the bugged one to eventually close).

P.S. Is the developer for this game back to fix everything?

We tend to support and still launch patches if needed even on our older games, i will forward this to QA and we are diffenetly gonna take a look at it asap.

There is a way to get rid of this. Keep the laptop screen opened. Then right click and hold on the clock, then left click and hold on the clock. Keep both mouse buttons held. This will speed up time and eventually the frozen laptop screen should return to normal. I haven't tested this in Deluxe but it used to work in Evolution.

I had the same issue, I resolved it by opening an identical tab and placing it right over that same tab and after a certain amount of time I was able to close the tabs. My suggestion is to wait an in game day and if it doesn't work, open more than 1 additional tab and try closing all of them again. Hope this helps

Also try to run out of battery if this happen , its a old bug it happens if you forget to close the tabs you open in the laptop, the only other way should be to throw the laptop away and buy a new one

Just for info:
There are two ways to get rid of that non closable/usable window:
1) not 100% (even not 30%...) but open all windows and in a few days you can close them all.
2) 100% solution, but not influance able. Wait until you get a computer virus - then clean in with disc from the marketing guys. To get that disc do the following: take spider from offer board before it get eaten by the snake, give it to sabotage guy, take dart arrow there and give it to marketing guy - take disc.

Keep in mind, throwing the laptop away and buying a new one does not(!) solve the issue.
I tried a lot (even with non steam version) and only these two ways above were working (exept massive saving and loading - which is quite annoying after a few days).

For the first point, you have to wait loads of days for the window to close on its own (I doubt it's consistent). However, you don't need to open all the other windows for it to do so.
The second point, about the virus, I have not been able to check as I have to have a window broken first then wait for someone to put a virus on my laptop.
Also, the solution to click on the planes to open the corresponding plane window works. The new window is usable and closes the bugged flight window.

I have not had any issue with any other windows but from looking at the comments I assume the bug includes other windows too. In which case, the last solution would not work as there's no other way to open any of the other windows (other than the plane window) without the buttons on the left.

I hate bringing back a topic that hasn't been responded to in a year, but better than making a new topic. Was there ever any headway in finding the bug and fixing it? Trying to wait for someone to put a virus on the notebook is a crapshoot.

Still bugged got never fixed and probably never will, the only solution is to close all windows on laptop (except the one that is bugged) save your game, load it, check if the bugged window of laptop is gone if not load savegame again.
