Supreme League of Patriots is a point-and click superhero parody in which the player controls "The Purple Patriot" and his alter ego, Kyle – a clumsy and not that bright guy whose dream is to win a spot on the newest hit reality TV show, America's Got Superpowers.

The salt and pepper of this game is given by the dialogs, which are supposed to be funny, but in fact they are mostly satiric and witty, and at times bland and annoying. The game is overall slow paced, most of the time is spent on reading the dialogs and the actual puzzle sequences are rather few. Clicking an object triggers a whole set of dialogues and there is no option to skip them even if you went through them once (you can skip the lines one by one, but not the whole dialogue). Sometimes the player can’t solve the puzzle even if he has the right object in the right place, since it can’t be used until Kyle has spoken to a particular character. Other times Kyle’s character blocks the objects which the player needs to interact with. And sometimes there is no indication about what the player is expected to do, even after exploring all the dialogues.

Overall, I consider that the price is too high for the quality that the game offers, even for one episode, so I would advise to purchase it during a sale. On a positive note, it’s very easy to obtain all the achievements because most of them are story related. There is no need to do 2 playthroughs to get 100% completion since the game comes with a save/load feature which means that you can save the game at key points and reload in order to explore other paths.

-Lots of good one-liners. Really enjoyed Mel’s acerbic dry British humor. Also has one of the greatest disses to Hidden Object games I've ever heard. (Seriously if you’re a big P&C fan this joke alone is worth purchasing the game.)
-Onscreen interactivity hotspot highlight function
-In game tiered hint system. Also, after being inactive for a while a character will make some additional hints if you get stuck.
-Can run at graphically higher settings on lower spec machines (i.e. mine.) I found the clothing texture details to be rather impressive.
-Excellent attention to lip-synching animations.

-Has a couple of poor "game flow" areas. In one case the thing you are looking for is obscured by the main character's default entry position in a room so I didn't even know it was there. The hint systems suggestion was too obtuse in one or two puzzles as well and I found myself stuck on more than one occasion.

-Slight delay when clicking thru dialogue. In this game you end up clicking things a lot when you get stuck so this delay can get frustrating.


This game's chapters are currently going for $6 each or the complete first season for $15. I can understand how people who paid the $6 asking price for approximately 3 hours of game play that includes getting stuck on some confusing puzzles and having relatively few locations to explore would rate this lower. However, I was able to pick up all three episodes on Fanatical for 37 CENTS, so I consider it an absolute steal. The games inconsistent tempo and limited destinations aside, I feel that this is a title worth considering for any P&C fan if they can find it on discount.

Played the first episode right through today and had a lot of fun with it. There is no deep story or mind bending puzzles here- just simple point and click, with a little inventory puzzling. It is silly and can even be annoying at times but in a good way.
Impossible to get stuck due to the ingame help system- the voice acting suits the characters as does the cartoony graphics.
can't wait to play the other two episodes!

While the graphics are nice and the soundtrack is awesome, this point & click adventure game fails at everything else : it's supposed to be a comedy but it's vastly unfunny thanks to the bland writing and the bad comedic timing. The characters are cliché and boring, and the inventory puzzles are unengaging.

Don't waste your time with this one, there are far better (and funnier) point & click adventure games on Steam!

Supreme league of patriors is a point of click game without puzzles or hidden objects, i could compare it more to the sam and max series than to the Artifex Mundi style point and click games.

Its suprisingly entertaining, it has good jokes aswell, good 4hours long entertainment for a night.

Not much space to tell more in a review as it would be spoilerfull else.

Easy as pie classic style point and click, but it's still pretty fun to go through it especially if you like silly humor, superheroes, and the references a plenty that go with it.

Mixed. There are some fun jokes and puns, making a playthrough worthwhile. However, it also felt like they were trying too hard. It is a nice pickup from a bundle ... supremely satisfactorily sufficient.

Supreme League of Patriots is a point and click adventure game, developed by No Bull Intentions, releasing in January 2015. The game has huge comical elements with the focus more on the story and plot rather than the game play.

Other than moving around and interacting with objects in the game world, there isn't really much to do. The puzzles are easily worked out and are very few and far between. The majority of the few puzzles revolve around combining the objects you have picked up, the only remotely challenging puzzles I had was the controls and UI, which I will go more onto later in the review. All of the NPCs in the game can be interacted with and have plenty of dialog options for you to exhaust.

Graphically, Supreme League of Patriots looks colourful and childlike, with most of the character looking more like they have been pulled out of a Nickelodeon. Whilst some people may not think that is a bad thing, but since the game is actually supposed to be based around comic book super heroes, I would have liked to have seen a more comic book theme going on. On top of the mediocre graphics, the animation is not really much better either, some of it either just looks awkward or just plain awful. Characters make really odd movements to get around objects, their walk animations looks janky and odd.

From what I have played so far, the story is following a stereotypical American young man, and boy to the play on the stereotypes, and a witty sarcastic English man. The two together make quite a funny pairing, and the dialogue between all of the characters are really good too. Each piece of dialog has some sort of comical attachment to it as well, it will have you chuckling along through it all. The first chapter ends at a good moment and sets up the second part nicely. You can pretty much guess some of the plot points before they even, they are just that obvious, but it will still be interesting to see where they take it.

Every character in the game is voice acted to an extremely high standard, the English character is spot on with the accent. There are some voices which are quite obviously taking the mick out of some well-known celebrities such as Simon Cowell and David Hasselhoff.

Since there isn't that much game play involved at least in the first chapter of the game, there is hardly any difficulty involved so far. Like I said, the only difficult part I had was the actual user interface, there is no form of tutorial to explain how to interact with objects you have picked up, you'll also need to combine items together in good Point and click fashion - this involves you opening one of the many inventory screens you have access to. When scrolling towards the bottom of the screen, one of the inventory screen pops up, this is where you select the item which is "active" in the game world that lets you "use" items with items in the world. This took me a good few minutes to figure out on my own - this could of easily of been solved with a small tutorial explaining it.

The first episode took me two hours to complete, this I feel is an OK length since there is another two episodes to come, which I would anticipate to be of the same length if not more. I did actually find myself wanting to get a couple of the achievements as well, leading to me saving at key points so I could reload to unlock the achievements.

The technical side of the game is sound. I played the game using the Steam Controller using a very basic control configuration and had no problems. Obviously the game will work just as well with the mouse though. An odd issue I did run into is that the game will not run in windows mode on certain resolutions, it will just crash to desktop giving you a message saying it’s not supported - not a massive deal, but still something which should not be a problem.

To sum up, so far, Supreme League of Patriots looks to be an interesting title. I am looking forward to see where the game takes the plot, and I am hoping to see a little more puzzle and game play elements being added into the later stages of the next few chapters. I am more looking forward to seeing more of the comical back and forth between the two characters. People who really enjoy the British sense of humour will really get a lot of enjoyment out of it; if you don't enjoy it, you'll probably be better of skipping this title because it is basically a walking joke the whole way through.

Its a refreshing point and click game. You can't really take this game seriously but that's okay. It is fun in its own weird way. I'll try to sum up the pros and cons for you:

Pros:
+ the story is goofy
+ the character you play makes you feel relieved that you finished high school
+ nice background music

Cons:
- the graphics for the characters could be improved
- too much dialogue at certain points in the game which can be frustrating, especcialy if you have to talk to mell in order to find out where objects might be
- no flow in the game play. You have to talk to Mell a lot which is a pain in the ass with the amount of dialogue

Overall the game is fun to play but I do wish they would change some things:

* Moving around using ASDW
* shorter dialogues
* improved character graphics
* easier access to items while investigating/using them
* improve the main character's IQ so you don't need Mell for everything

If you like a goofy point and click game than this game is for you :)
