Jackbox.tv site is blank for me [SOLVED?]
Hello. I have an issue with "http://jackbox.tv/". For some reason, when i connect to that site, all i see is blank page (white). I only noticed this problem with that particular domain. "Fibbage.com", "http://jackboxgames.com" or even this website are working properly for me. Therefore i am able to play for example Fibbage, but not the ones, that have room codes only available through jackbox.tv.
I am using Firefox 35.0 on desktop PC, but i have exactly the same issue even when i connect through IE or Chrome. I have Java scripts enabled, it supports WebSocket, i disabled every adblocking software, i cleared my entire history, cache and cookies. Still no change. i even tried to open ports in firewall that are mentioned in the FAQ, i use cable internet (no router) and that I’m from Europe, Slovakia, if that has something to do with anything.
Can you help me?

If you have a custom HOSTS file, temporarily remove it.

Been there, done that. No change.

We are still looking into this issue for you, but we don't have an update yet unfortunately. Have you tried contacting your ISP for help? Some overseas ISPs have been giving us issues, mostly TalkTalk for UK players.

Yes, i stated that in my support ticket. I posted here to see if anyone else had a similar issue.

I would check your DNS settings. I know I had custom DNS settings in my router and was getting the white screen of death. Removed them and I was golden.

@Missinginsanity, can you please be more specific about what changes you made that were interfering?

I have a cable connection, but it passes through a router..

(I'm guessing from your description that you're on a Windows OS)
If on Windows 7 or Vista, hit the button on the lower left and on the search type "cmd"
If on Windows 8/8.1, open the charms (put your cursor on the upper right corner of the screen and swipe directly down) and hit Search, then type "cmd"
press enter
from there, type in
ipconfig/all

A huge wall of text should come up.
What you need to find is something called "Default Gateway"
Mine is 192.168.0.1
If you type that in a web browser (your default gateway, not mine) it should send you to your router..

If there isn't anything that says default gateway, or it's blank, then you're right.
Just.. You really should have a router, it acts as a weak firewall and could help you against web threats.

Some ISPs give routers that send to their own DNS that might not be the best or up to date.
They might see jackbox.tv as not set up to an IP, and give an error.

Of course, I'm not MissingInsanity, but that's a possiblity, especially since most people don't go to new websites often it seems, or cares about their DNS.
I'd recommend Google's DNS
8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
usually you can edit it in the router so it sends to one of your choice.

i connected to a router, but it requires name and password that i do not have acces to
Jackbox Games  [developer] Jan 28, 2015 @ 9:15am
Is that something you can get access to? Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much we can do about this issue from our end. We will continue to investigate and will update if we find out anything new.

I know this is late (I just got this game), but I noticed if I had the "Ghostery" extension blocking Google Analytics, I experienced the same blank screen you did.

By disabling Ghostery, the website loaded just fine.
Try disabling private browser if your on iPhone, it worked for me

Yes, as the great Mr.Tubesocks mentions, disable private browsing if you are on iPhone :fartsandwich:

I know it's late, but I switched from Google Chrome to Firefox, and it worked :)
