Just translated readme and .cmd via Google from Chinese.
However, I found some advice on this forum post: http://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?t=2159
First I downloaded their KVS2OGG program. Then by renaming the BGMLink.g1l to BGMLink.kvs you can load it up in the program. It extracts the file and exports out all 95 background songs as OGG files. Theoretically, you can replace them with other OGG files at this point. Then you need to convert them back to KVS.
KVS2OGG is in Japanese so it's a bit hard to navigate, but I discovered that if you go to Tool there is an OGG > KVS command, so you can actually repackage the sound files after changing them. The problem is, you can't shift select more than one OGG, so you have to repackage them one at a time. Considering there is only one .g1l file in the BGM folder, I don't think it would work if you ended up with a ton of individual KVS files. We need to figure out some way to combine all of those KVS files into a single KVS, then we can rename it back to g1l. I can't figure out how to do that though so I'm kind of at a dead end here.
My only problem is that sometimes they don't seem to loop, so if a song ends early it just goes silent for the rest of the battle. The documentation says unpacking in kvs format keeps the "circulation information" (I did ogg), so I assume that would fix the problem. Using that other program that I grabbed, I should be able to convert all of my ogg files to kvs so I'm hoping that will fix the issue.
