The port is... bad, at least as far as graphics optimization goes. I wouldn't put too much stock into them fixing it. For now just accept that it's a PS3 port.
Other than the graphics I think the port is fine. Runs wicked smooth with no dips for me, and I haven't run into any of the issues people have been reporting on here like controllers not working and saving bugs.
I guess it comes down to how much you care about high quality ports. If you just want a fun, smooth game, I'd go for it, though maybe during a sale or price drop. If you're one of those people that thinks not buying will stick it to the devs, don't.
Bandai said they known the issue, but they not said anything else.
The xbox controller is supported but many people have problems to get working, in game there aren't any xbox controller button on screen you see only keyboard button and when you try to confiigure the xbox layout you see 1-2-3-4-5 instead of a/b/x/y button.
Without talking of the various bugs and lack of texture/effect people are discovering.

No is a bad port, surely not worth to buy now, maybe in future when is fixed at 5-10$/€ max.
- No online support whatsoever
- Some people seem to have controller issues, personally everything works fine with both my controllers (X360 cabled ones)
That's pretty much all the gripe people has with the game, if you don't care much about having graphics with 50000p & textures so crisp that you can see the pores on Luffy's skin then the game is pretty awesome and fun to play, especially if you like DW games
Yeah give money to scammer...
Its a decent port in the way that it runs fairly smooth, but that's due to the low quality, rather than technical optimization.
Other than that, people are reporting issues with controllers, saving, missing textures, crashes, and just today, missing effects that actually are in the PS4/PS3 versions(Aokiji's arm turning into ice during his special as example.) The game also offers less content and features than DW/SW games.
In the end, I'd say that the port itself is pretty underwhelming, but if you're just looking for another DW experience, or a One Piece game, you'll probably be okay with it.
Good move wait, they probably never do something good for this game, the sales are going not really good.
well if they tried fixing somestuff and listen to the community the sales will go though the roof xD but thats never gonne happen according to some people :P
Nah is too late for fix and restore sales, bandai and tecmo have a truly bad reputation for bad port, they deserve to fail on sales.
If they don't fix the visual slider bug then I'll most likely wait until it;s at least £10, currently we've got MGSV, Fallout 4 and a slew of other titles that are more worth the money than this is for me imo, again I do love One Piece but not enough to ignore all the flaws and take into account that they are asking for £40 base game and £10 for actual story content.
That said I do wish more Japanese devs were like Kojima and the ones behind VC because those two sets of devs know how to do proper solid PC ports unlike the other lot of Japanese devs who just throw a shoddy port up on Steam, when you give us the time and give us quality, you will definitely be met with some nice profit and praise, I'm well aware the reviews so far are more positive but the game could get even more overflowing praise if it was exactly thr same if not slightly above PS4 level.
Lets be clear here, we already know that this version/port was planned to have only PS3 graphics at best. Im not sure any kind of response to Bandai will make them go back to create a new patch.
The only way to make companies stop throwing out garbage like this is to stop buying the game. Plain and simple.
