What's actually in the story pack?

I'm not sure which version of the game I should get, and it all boils down to what's contained in the story pack. I don't care about costumes, so I just need to know if I'll be missing out on any notable story elements if I don't get it.

I bought it and I'm honestly not sure what has been added besides the costumes. Either it hasn't been released yet, or it unlocks after the main mode?

According to this, it's only a summary of DLC packs that were sold in Japan. It adds 8 "challenges"(most likely available missions in Dream Log mode), but doesn't seem to add new characters or stages. And of course the costumes.

It seems that the challenges are bonuses and the costumes are actually the main selling point.

They are available on dream log from the beginning if you purchase gold edition. Yeah they dont add anything but new missons, but anyway they seem pretty funny. For example 1 mission is about fighting in the colosseum and it was pretty fun.
