No, we should still expect as much. There's simply not enough profit in it for them to include online for PC and vita, which is the unfortunate truth. Either that, or Bandai, as the publisher, didn't provide enough funding to Omega Force to implement it. I say that because SW4-II, which is self-published by KT, is going to have online.
All Dynasty Warriors games on PC do not.

I think both sides are guilty here.
On the bright side, SW4-II is confirmed to have online, so it looks like Omega Force finally sorted that ♥♥♥♥ out, a bit too late for PW3 though unfortunately.
