So what exactly is a "!"?

At the end of each level, you're graded on the number of exclamation points you get, and apparently you want to get a lot, but I don't see anything saying what they are or how you get them. Do you get them for your hit combo reaching a certain level? Killing enemies with team attacks? What? I got a couple hundred in the tutorial level without trying, or even knowing they were a thing, but I'm still lost.

To get "!" your partner in your team must kill the characters to get 1 "!" (characters=any enemy), and i think kazuna rush and kazuna rush attack also give your "!" (not sure about kazuna rush but i know kazuna rush attack does give you "!")

yes you have to kizuna rush to get this or do a special kizuna atack with your followers for this so if you ever get marco or whitebeard use them to get the maximum kizuna :)
