Playstation 5 Controller nonfunctioning
When I try and use my Playstation 5 controller for this game it does not work. I cannot bind anything to the controller and steam's general controller settings didn't work. I did test an old ps4 controller I had and it worked but the buttons weren't all completely bound. Is there anyway to make a ps5 controller work as it is my current preferred controller?

Weird co-incidence, I tried getting into the game again last night, with a PS5 controller as well, and found much the same thing. Actually my PS5 controller started to work after launching the game through big picture mode with Steam input enabled, but the button mapping was all janky. For example A/B was on square/triangle (or X/Y). I switched up A/B and X/Y in steam config and could get through menus normally, even get into a game, but lots of buttons werent working.

I could move about and attack, but right analogue was dead, as was start/pause buttons and the two shoulder buttons.

Trying again today with DS4Windows to emulate my DS4 lol, but now whenever OPPW3 is fullscreen it's blanking out my monitor, that might be a diff issue tho, gonna restart and hope for best :/

Yeah so the monitor thing was something else, probably due to installing .Net for DS4Windows, just needed a reboot.

So DS4Windows is working a treat for me now. I've disabled Steam input and launching the game as normal (not via big picture), and it's working flawlessly, just like my DS4 used to many months ago.

For the sake of being thorough, I'm using DS4Windows v3.1.1, with Hide DS4 controller enabled in settings. Also got it emulating 360 and not DS4, but can be changed in edit profile screen, untder the other tab.

I still can't get it to work. I'm using a ps5 controller and have it connected to ds4 through bluetooth but nothing responds

Hmm if you use DS4Windows, are you hiding the "DS4" controller in settings? Some Japenese games bind to the first controller they see and it causes issues with cntroller emulation, but that hide setting should fix it. Can't remember if OPPW3 has this issue but it might.

If that doesn't help then another think deffo worth doing is make sure the emulated DS4/Xbox controller is detected by Steam, enable Steam controller input for the game and launch the game through Big Pictture mode.
