Xinput Plus(Win 10) PS3 Controller

so ive been trying to get this program to work. ive done everything from running Admin to Comp mode, ive even left the bell sound on to see if the program got injected to so i can use my controller but it doesnt even see the the code for it to use the Xinput config, ive used the Xinput loader to make a shortcut even that didnt work! am i missing something here? this is the only game i own that doesnt let me use my controller like normal.

ive upgraded to win 10 a while i remember this game running normally back then.

I fire up this game every once in a while, and it worked a few weeks ago. Now, Xinputplus doesn't work for me. None of my settings have changed. The bell sound doesn't happen. Reapplying the patch doesn't work.

You shouldn't need to use Xinput Plus with a PS3 controller. This game has problems understanding the inputs of XInput controllers. However, Playstation controllers use DirectInput. If you install a PS controller on the PC with an XInput driver and then use XInputPlus to fix it for this game, you're doing it the hard way.

I don't use a PS controller myself, but several people have reported that ScpToolkit provides a driver which works well with this game, for both PS3 and PS4 controllers (just install the relevant driver).
