Bug in the final chapter (dressrosa) (HELP ME)
Bug in the final chapter (dressrosa)

When I put the final chapter to complete the legendary diary, after the videos pass, I start the battle in the previous menu to play, and starts loading the game but while loading (and leaving game tips), Disappear and comes back loading, where finally I return to the main menu of the game. This has happened in other chapters, but after closing it was solved, this time it has not been solved, I have unstrapped it, closed many times, but nothing works :( I can not complete the last chapter for this reason

Same goes on me but completed it 2 years ago. I don't know why it does that.

Can you tell me when you purchased the game?

Buy the game during the July offers this year. Lowering the resolution of the game I was able to play, but now a new problem arose, which when finished with doflamingo appears a black screen that can not be omitted so I still can not complete the chapter.

I don't have answer to this solution, Pirate Warriors 3 is 2 years old. It's either way starting to break down. Nothing like this happened when i pre-purchased Pirate Warriors 3. You can try remove your save file and verify game cache and create new save file, start all over again. If it doesn't work i believe the game is starting to break.

I hope it helps you.

I had the same issue several times over; I had story dlc for the game which I uninstalled, and I am now able to play the level. Also, minimize graphics settings as much as possible.

On the other hand, Doflamingo's presence onscreen now causes massive framerate drops and other visual issues, treasure events and ". . ." events don't happen properly, and the game crashes shortly after beating Doflamingo the first time.

Can't win'em all I suppose.

I've been using a Dualshock 4 controller and having this exact same issue, but for whatever reason the same thing doesn't seem to happen with keyboard controls. The mission is still a bit buggy (long may his reign as Pirate King be), but at the very least it starts.

Update on my battles with this issue, it seems like the problem is that the game isn't optimised for Windows 10. The way I worked my way around it is by right clicking the application inside the OPPW3 file (desktop shortcut doesn't work for this, you need to go into the local files) and selected "properties." Under the compatibility tab you'll find run compatibility troubleshooter. Then, choose the option to try recommended settings, which will be Windows 8. It still doesn't work perfectly, but I noticed that the button mapping on the DS4 is a bit smoother. It does seem to screw with the graphics quite a bit causing slowdown and tearing on my PC on high, and particle effects seem to be more than it can handle (such as how I was playing on medium graphics, and Caesar even showing up on screen caused the game to crash). It's not a perfect solution, but it's better than not being able to play the game.

Another warning that I think is pretty important, for me the save during a mission function doesn't work, and causes the game to lock up. Hope this helps you!
i had this problem as well i got around it by playing coop on the level after that no issues annoying but its something
At first, low all graphics as posible. Then, set the game properties to run optimized for Windows 7 and execute as administrator.

You don't have to lower the graphics settings, it's a bug with the game reading the cutscene files. If you disable video playback in the options then it'll start the mission fine every single time, and you'll be able to complete it without issues.

The black screen is error is the same thing - it's actually just trying to load a cutscene or something, you can skip it by pressing start and continue with the missions. Sometimes I've been able to start the last mission with everything set normally, but it's very hit and miss, and it has a tendency to crash at points in the mission. I know the story anyway so for me it's not a big problem disabling the cutscenes.

It really sucks, specially since this is the 1st actual new arc they've covered in PW3 haha, but oh well, it is what it is.

I had the same problem and I fixed that by switching the language from Traditional Chinese to English. Hope it helps.
