Update 2:
Aparently this isn't fixed for everyone, there's a place listed somewhere that you can send bug issues to, not sure if it was an email or if it was a website anymore, but do that. They did an update a bit after I messaged them and when it came out they asked me if it fixed it so they check that. Just have to figure ouw how to get them the bug report cause it wasn't via Steam. I forgot what though so... good luck finding it.

Update, I forgot I made this, so I'll write this update now the previous update for the game, which was a couple months ago or so fixed this for me. Hopefully it fixed it for everyone else if that's not the case please post.

What version of the game did you have installed? The current 2.0.1 version, the achievement is broken, I want to know what version you had when you got the achievement. In another game downloading the previous version allowed people to get some achievements that were broken later (blanc+neptune vs zombies) so I was thinking it might work here too.

I got it with the current 2.0.1 version. I did find that many achievements weren't awarded at the time I got them but in the following play session.

Have all your attempts been on the same save? Maybe try from a fresh game (Options > Clear game files).

I beat the game twice in less then hour. I also collect all nine clues and inspected them but it seems there's nothing I can do. Achivements are bugged. However my gameplay experience was amazing so I'm not complaining for them.

if you verify the integrity of the files that tends to fix all the achievements accept for the less than an hour one, I have no idea how you get that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to work, pisses me off I've put nearly 20 hours into the game trying to get it I just want it so I can have the game completed.

oh yeah, do it in a new game not in a continued game btw IE delete all your save data and try it.

I did the run in one go, without saving and loading at any point and without dying. Don't know if any of those factors are relevant.

Hey everyone, I finally managed to obtain Speed Demon, and in Game Plus at that!!

I've seen a lot of places that say you need to delete your save games, but that appears to not be necessary. I got the clue from someone that said you needed to remove the game configuration from the windows registry.
But you don't need to remove it all, just the time tracking attributes

To do this just open regedit.exe and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Atmos Games, LLC\Pinstripe
You will see several attributes there, the one I removed is TotalPlayTime_h(a big number), i.e. "TotalPlayTime_h818731894"

Just right click on it and remove it. I don't remember if I removed other attributes previously, but I don't think so.

Once that's done open the game and play it until the end. In my playthrough I didn't exit the game, tab out and didn't save the game even once, not sure if that helps but I didn't want to do anything weird.

This only works for 1 playthrough, if you need to play it again remove the attribute from the registry again. For some reason every time you exit the game TotalPlayTime will contain an "invalid DWORD", that's probably the bug that's causing this achivievemnt to not unlock.

If anyone else manages to unlock the achivement let me know.
