Man, I just finished all endings after an entire week playing... In a sense, I spent my own week "at" Sovyonok...
The game can become really deep sometimes... the Yulya ending really hit me with that "learn to love yourself first" to love Her inside yourself; thanks to that, I could not sleep for hours, thinking about all that implies for myself. At each ending, even if Semyon usually returned to his autistic self (and we cheered so much for something better!) he became gradually better as a person, leading to a full karmic release after 13 iterations. A brilliant, captivating and deep plot, despite some continuation flaws that are too minor to consider.
That being said, I'm relieved to finally not have to be Semyon again, I REALLY wanted to smash his head to the floor for being a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to Alisa (he broke her heart real bad), for treating Miku like a piece of nothing throughout the gameplay (leaving her speaking alone many times), and for being an unempathic bastard with everybody.
Having seen all endings, the Harem ending is quite nice, you manage to keep contact with all girls but Yulya (which still leaves a source of bad consciousness at the very ending), and that was something people could cheer for.
But my favourite ending and favourite girl, the one I'd choose without hesitation, is Lena. At the beginning, I left the Slavya endings for the last, because I thought they would be the most significant ones... what a disappointment! She is too carefree, too unattached to have something deep with. The Alisa path also promised something great, but Semyon was a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to her, in both endings. The Masha ending... WTF... only useful to corroborate the Harem ending, and can be seen as a side story, as Semyon somehow warping INTO Masha's Sovyonok as he wasn't able to build a relationship meaningful enough with anybody on the camp. Ulyana's ending shows the greatest personal improvement for the protagonist, and to meet her at the Uni was also a very nice ending.
But Lena was special. Her bad ending is the only one leading to actual physical death in the actual physical world; her good ending is the only one capable of breaking through the time warp so that they could build a life together... a life in which he made her improve from a juvenile lack of security to a mature, supportive, hard-working woman, while since the abandoned camp she was able to fight the coward inside Semyon and make him improve also. All of this can only mean that Lena is his true love, the one he could not remember from "early age" and from the bomb shelter dream... it was the only love that generated such an energy as to produce two extreme endings, structurally distinct from all others.
She may be unstable and a bit spoiled, having to fight a great internal evil born out of repressed sadness and bitterness (Masha ending/Slavya ending, when she disappears in the forest with a knife on her hand - she went to the forest not to talk to Semyon, but to kill the lovers), but that improved a lot with maturity, and (what I love most about her) she is deeper than most other characters, intellectually and emotionally, having most intense feelings than most other girls and fighting for those feelings, literally if needed. And literally, she was the least passive of all girls, being the only one to come out on top ;)
That's why I believe she is the right one. Compared to the effects resulting from other relationships, with Lena we have the most extreme endings.
Besides, what's not to love about her?
well theres no right or wrong with this game (except for the semyon endings) and how extreme it is entirely depends on the person and this is a discussion about which one is our personal favourite not which one is right i dont want another chat war like those "who would win superman or goku" to happen to everlasting summer
they makes doki-doki my heart
