The Sims™ Legacy Collection

The Sims™ Legacy Collection

Is there a way to mod the game's timescale?
I know asking stuff through Steam Discussions is like the worst thing ever but, why not.
I was wondering if there's a way to mod the game's timescale, so that instead of 1 irl Second being 1 in-game Minute, to change that so it's like 10 seconds irl is 1 minute in-game, or even crazy enough like real time scale.
Looking up online on what places host mods or things for this game is painful since people prefer any of the other games but this one. lol

The closest thing I know of is this cheat.

set_hour

Then add a number between 1-24

set_hour 24
is midnight.

set_hour 1
1 am

You're needs will stay the same.

Does not exist. What did you expect? It's not a popular game to mod.

my friend, it's the game that invented widespread game modding communities.
The mod quite possibly existed, but it is possibly lost to time.

Try finding a sims 1 modding discord is my best bet

You're right about it having a good modding community, but it's never been popular on any of the mod sites. I've always looked at the mods for The Sims, as stuff packs. Just more objects and skins to add into the game.

There aren't any mods to balance the gameplay. That's what I'm trying to say.

I bet if the mod OP was looking for did exist, The Sims would slow down, eat slower, move slower, etc.

Actually there are a bunch of gameplay mods, since I got those around.
It's just time stuff I haven't found, but for now I got a way around it by having a weekends mod etc.

Look into uploading them to the Nexus or ModDB sometime.

Nah, it's someone's else mods and they have their own website links and still work on the game.
Maybe if you want that, why don't you do it? cx
