Black Screen since release

After loading the game and clicking Defend the Frontier, game tries to load and just sits at a black screen with the cursor. Have had this issue since steam launch, and am still having it going into the New Year.

If this didn't help, try to reinstall the game? Afterwards I would stay with the epic launcher and open up a support ticket.

Yeah already tried the verification method, also heard some people had issues on epic in the past and to delete the .mov file, tried that, and re-verified as well and no luck. Re-installed the game completely and nothing, me and several other users have this issue according to steam discussion.
