Alchemist Achivement

Hi im having trouble with Alchemist : Conjure gold out of stone in 70 seconds. I believe is the part near the ending where you have to turn the three stones in gold. I tried several times with no luck and having to replay the entire game to get to that part doesn't help.

Is the achivement bugged or am i too slow?

not sure now how long it took me, but what I now do is when at a puzzle I exit game, find the save game folder, copy the folder to desktop, go back into game try the puzzle, if you fail, exit game, copy back the folder to the original save game folder and re-enter game, your back at the puzzle before you tried it, try again, and repeat until you have it..good luck

You're too slow I think. I had the same problem, for one or two seconds each time. I managed to do it but I did first the colors that don't require to pour from a tube from another (5 and 7). After that, it's a matter of not clicking to exit the game (which is really annoying) and to pour directly into the numbered tubes (at first try). And the balls must be gold BEFORE the timer is done. I though that solving the minigame would enable the achievement but nope. You really have to have the gold stones before the end of the timer.

Finally got it. For some reason it was bugged. Id tried it in a new profile and it worked in the first try

Same problem. I mixed it under one minute and achiv didn't unlock.

Try replaying the game in a new profile an see if it works.

Hi can anyone tell me where i can find the save file as i am also struggling to get certain achievements and having to replay the game over and over gets kinda annoying lol. thnx in advance.

Not true. There is only one file .spark_db, I tried to copy it, then play a little bit, then copy this file back and I was at the same place as when I closed the game. No steps back.

So does anybody know the real folder with save file?

I'm looking for the save location too. I'd rather not have to play through the game a third time just to get this one achievement if I miss it again.

Nevermind, I had to disable steam cloud for the profile to show up.

Hmm... yeah, the game has SteamCloud right, so do this - i think thats works at anyway.

1. Start Game with SteamCloud
2. go to the point before you to do
3. leave the game
4. disable steamcloud
5. run game and do you point, if you failed leave game and enable SteamCloud


theoretically and logically it should work, but it doesn't ...
and so thats means, if SteamCloud enabled you can't find the local SaveFile - game is saved on cloud.
only with disabled SteamCloud you can find the game in the directory - you need to start a new game.

here you show a folder called "profile" <- the SaveFiles are all in this folder under a long number folder.

I just can't seem to get anywhere close to the 70 second limit and I've completed the puzzle over a dozen times by now :(

1) yellow bottle -- 5 test tube-- yelloy flask
2) mix yellow bottle +red bottle in couldron -- 7 tube -- orange flask
3) clean couldron -- mix yellow bottle+blue bottle --
7 tube-- from 7 to 5-- from 7 to green flask
4) clean couldron-- clean tube-- mix blue+ red botles-- 5 tube-- from 5 to 7 --from couldron to 5 tube-- from 5 to 7-- from 5 to purple flask
