Episode 3 discussion [Also spoilers]

Well as the title says I think it's time to discuss what happened during this episode.
Didn't expect the whole "Rhys-Sasha shipping" from them but I think maybe it's for the good. Only time will tell.
Also it's really impressive Gearbox allowed them to show us how original Vault Hunters managed to capture Athena.
Anythign else I missed?

This Atlas guy had real similarities to nakymama (or whatever his name is) at least I thought he did.

Vasquez had "Stomach problems" well, can't say I'm not happy. It's still kinda sad I can't keep mocking him.

Alliance with jack? Check.

Vaughn gone? Well, we'll see.

Gortys being the best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Character ever? Check.

Naming my first-born Loader Bot? Sure as ♥♥♥♥.

I blamed Felix, dunno about the other Options.

But about BL3 I'd rather see Rhys. 1 Tree for the Baton, 1 Tree for the Arm 1 Tree for the Company (like the Doppelganger tree in TPS)

I don't know. He doesn't look like a proper Vault Hunter matherial. He's more like that guy who gives you tons of side-quests while messing around.

I mean vaughn definatly has the potential to become one but I don´t really buy the whole "I put an excercise bike in my office a few weeks ago..."

Is it just me or was that episode really short in comparison to the other 2 episodes? I expected longer...

I was not expecting the Main Original vault hunters to be working with Vallory. I'm curious how the vault on Helio is tied. Like how presequel, it was tied with the aliens. Also the ending of presequel gave info to Borderlands 3 of a "Vault Hunter War" which I noticed when Vaughn(Assuming that when you tell him to find info on the computers) was talking about during the "Lab" scene. He mentioned some sort of teleporter which I found quite interesting to the story.

Other things we need know:
-Where's Vaughn
-What will become of Jack vs Rhys
-What will happen between Fiona and Athena
-When will the Main Original vault hunters step and fight Vallory.

1. He will probably appear from nowhere and save the day.
2. During "The present scenes" Rhys is definitely using the different arm so there is a possibility they are separated now or Jack found a way to remove himself out of Rhys' body.
3. Probably nothing. We know what happened with Athena in the end.
4. I think they won't appear again. Or the chances are pretty low.

It did feel short though. I remember playing the last one a bit longer. It could be that they were wrapping up key points before we wait even longer for the next episode.

Athena did influence Fiona a bit to be vault hunter. It could impact the story of Borderlands 3 a bit.

Well I meant in this series. After this episode I really want Fiona to be playable in BL3.

After watching whats going to happen in episode 4, It seems like a certain thing mentioned at the end of a certain DLC including Bunkers and Badasses is happening at Helios so im excited about that, But holy crap The fact that Mordecai and Brick were working with Vallory it just felt wrong for once seeing them being bad guys or having them not being allies
