Tales from the Borderlands-The Story So Far discussion (spoilers for ALL episodes)

So it seems that the video has set some canon choices in stone for the BL canon.

All but canon choices
-Zer0 was involved in the fight against The Traveler (was mentioned by Marcus in the video, shown to be a team member and Super Gortys is even ultizing his sword techniques)
-Athena showing mercy to Cassius (This is partially supported from the new BL2 dlc since Vaughn acts like Cassius is his old good friend. He helps him out if you choose this option but Vaughn will hate Cassius)

Now oddly enough, the fate of A.I Jack weirdly glossed over. I can understand not wanting to designate a set in stone canon for such a senstive and major choice but they seemingly no mention of the end of Jack. Also, Marcus, WTF? Scooter died and you say nothing about him? I'm pretty sure that he dies regardless of your choices so it is weird that the death of a major supporting character in the BL universe isn't mentioned at all...

Anyways, what do you guys think of this? This just make me secretly wish for a second Tales game even through it won't happen becausr there are just a few loose ends I would like to see explored (Rhysasha, possiblity of Rhyiona, what Rhys and Fiona found in the vault, etc...) I know BL3 will likely addresss some of these but I prefer to see the writers of this game handle these plots.

Looks like Rhys chose to trust Jack (glowy eye and arm out while Fiona gapes) and reject Hyperion instead of rule it (Jack takes control of his arm).

Also, they used a different playthrough for some parts of the video. Fiona's disguise is different for the "dramatic walk to rocket" scene.

August, Claptrap, and Janey were part of the Vault team in the video too? So yeah, different playthroughs (I could be remembering their attacks wrong).

Hopefully Scooter gets a mention in BL3. He earned it. Catch a ride...

Based on how Rhys' ECHOeye looks in BL3, the theory I've heard is that he's reinstalled Jack. He had a gold eye in Tales, but now it's blue again. And his port glowed when he did the wink.

I'm basing it off of Gortys' battle moves. If you slow down the video, you can see that she does a punch attack, something where she lifts off, and some sort of dual rocket launch.

The devs will have to be careful if they put in more Jack. If he's anything more than a minor character he'll overshadow the new ones. Jack's a hard act to follow. As a minor character he should be ok, just standing there pointing at you and laughing, maybe give out a few missions.

Which is why I said that it would be best if he's just be reglated to DLC. Giving him the spotlight without overshadowing the new vilians. I think the Calpyso Twins might be pretty interesting through the girl comes to my mind as Jack but if he was a chick, siren and streamer in one big package. Through Gearbox may just mess that up and make him overshadow or heck like you said, just make him a minor character. Sorry if my grammar is distracting, I'm on crappy moblie.

I look forward to seeing how the characters from Tales will turn up in BL3. Jack automatically adds awesome just by being there and I expect Gearbox to cash in on that, but I want all the other characters to show up too. I want to know what was in that vault. Can the writers wrap it all up without taking time away from the new guys?

Really, I just want Tales From the Borderlands 2 too. Rhys taking Atlas with Zer0, Cassius, and Claptrap? Fiona and Sasha questing for a real Vault Key or doing whatever they want? Instant buy.

He gets one kindof in the free BL2 DLC. Her sister is taking over the catcharide system.
So, yes, Scooter is dead. Any PT I've done with all possible choices lead to this.
