The Millenia fight does not end
I know this is supposed to be an unwinnable fight, but every single time she starts by casting Stram a good 6 or so times, which I assume makes her run out of MP. Then she just uses normal attacks until I die (Which causes a game over). Apparently this was already a bug in older versions of the game, so did this seriously not get fixed?

if i remember correctly from the original, you have to retry the fight until it works

Works fine for me..
Yeah it was a known bug for many versions of the game, and it appears that they still haven't fixed it.

I don't get it, it seems like an easy fix too. Just remove Stram from her moveset or trigger the failstate at 0 HP...

That's... really bad. That's the infamous "zap" bug present in the old PC release (and absent from the DC and PS2 versions).

There are two solutions that work in the old PC version. I have no idea if they'll work in this one.

The first solution is to not talk to the tutorial guy. Ever. Talking to him causes the AI for the Millenia fight to bug out for some bizarre reason. Without talking to him, she'll zap Ryudo like she should and the game will continue.

The other, less reliable, solution is to unequip Ryudo's weapons. If Ryudo's attack is extremely low, she's unlikely to use Stram and will instead use Zap on him.
Switching to a weaker weapon worked! Thanks for the tip.

Can't get through the fight due to the Stram-spam. And sometimes when I try again, the game just resets to title screen before the fight even starts.

I was really looking forward to playing this game. So frustrating.
worked for me, after a few turns she "zapped" me and it was over.

I just kep attacking her with normal combo attacks.
I'm surprised this bug is still here considering this is supposed to be a port of the Dreamcast version and not the old PC/PS2 ports; where that bug wasn't present.

Makes you wonder if they didn't cut corners.

this keeps happening to me its extremely annoying i even started a new game and did not talk to the tutorial guy this time the supposed cause of the bug.
Also, only use Move and Guard, since you don't want to trigger her rage mode.

You should never trigger her rage mode in the first fight. She does one Burn, one Combo, one Stram, and then one Zap! (which leads to you being paralyzed). That's it. If it progresses farther than that it may be bugged.

Try to never attack her. I used 'Defend' every time, after three or four rounds she cast Zap and the fight ended.

the usual way it went for me was Burn -> Attack -> Zap. Occasionally it was Burn -> Stram -> Attack -> Zap. A friend of mine had the Bug, and it usually showed itself by not starting with Burn

De-equipped everything 'cept for the sword.
Got Burn > Attack > Stram > Zap
Was my 3rd attempt. Blocked everything just in case.

I closed the game and did the fight again. It worked for me.
