Prisoners and tortures
What is a basic logic for that?

Once i captured a guy, i see it is a prisoner lvl 1. Should i keep a prisoner for a while to level him up before torturing?

You can level up prisoners? I thought prisons just held them in one place so you can choose to torture or outright execute them.

Torture has the possibility to bring more mana, if the prisoner survives.
Execute brings less mana but you get a head to make into a Prisoner-head-on-a-spike to entice further attacks.
A prisoner that dies off torture most likely comes back as a ghost.

Really? Do you need a Ritual Room for that? I tortured a lot of prisoners to death and didn't get any ghosts. On another game I tortured 0 prisoners but had a Ritual Room and got like 20 ghosts.
That's why I wrote most likely, Ghosts can be attracted/created from different sources. A Prisoner dying in a torture room is one of it.

Can you, please, provide a bit more details about ritual room and ghosts?
Also, i tortured several prisoners, but they all died.

Just building a ritual room slowly attracts ghosts, succubi and dopplegangers. The bigger the room, the faster it attracts. I suggest 4x4 to start with and then upgrading it when you have a surplus of mana. Ghosts, when they spawn, usually just perform more rituals in the ritual room.

Tortured prisoners all die, but the longer they take to die, the more mana you get. Sometimes they die immediately, sometimes they survive for a little while, but they all eventually die.

Out of three worlds i've only had 2 people EVER surrender as prisoners, i thought it was an incomplete feature. Should be a setting to "capture" wounded/fleeing enemies instead of kill them. Weapons like Clubs could incapacitate them for capture. Let us craft NETS.

Yeah it is difficult to capture at the moment - in my last game that got corrupted I had 2 legendary beasts that just seemed to sit at the entrance to my dungeon, they massacred everything that came their way in seconds, they took no prisoners :P

would be sweet if you could get them from raidings too and use them to breed monsters to give them some use when you get to stage where you done all research since you dont realy need mana anywhere at that point

I think Beasts and Undead should take no prisoners but Demons/Humanoids would, an interesting bit of depth when choosing your minions.

It is all about morale of enemy troops that are in claimed areas, so decapitate half and chase the rest inside.
