get a missing executable error when trying to launch. this is on steam deck

does the demo end on the closet scene where it says "i was waiting for you" or did my game just crash

I've been watching a few videos of the demo and it apparently goes on for longer than the closet scene. For me, and apparently someone else here, the game hard crashes as soon as you reach the closet for the first time instead of waking up in the bed. Problem is that the game will not open again after that. So...cool beans....

is extremely good, can't wait for release
