24 FPS At Any Fullscreen Resolution
I am sure someone else has posted this but... seriously? 1920x1080 or 1280x720 drop my frame rate down to 24 instantly which is obviously unplayable. The game runs in a window at 1600x900 at 198 FPS. My rig is far beyond powerful enough to run this game at 1080p 60 FPS. The issue seems to only affect full screen mode so I assume this bug could be resolved with the addition of a "Windowed Borderless" graphics option. I am massively disappointed as the game is totally unplayable for me right now.

I cannot imagine how such a significant bug made it through to release...

UPDATE: After scrolling through more pages of discussion I found a temporary fix for this: disable the Steam overlay for the game. It now runs at 60 FPS without any problem. I still hope they manage to get this fixed as I will really miss the Steam overlay functionality.

I'm actually having the opposive problem. The game runs fine at full screen 1080p but when I alt tab and it auto-switches to window mode for some unholy reasons, frame rate drops to ♥♥♥♥ instantly. Tried using windowedborderless to fix the problem to no availl. Also noticing strange stutter/ framerate dip when driving sometimes. GTX 970m 6gb/ i7 4720HQ/ 16GB RAM.

They mentioned they put a very low frame limiter into the game. Part of the port edition they didnt think they needed to change for pc players.

Lol... 24fps is unplayable? I wish I was a spoiled kid myself....

They didn't actually... you just fail at reading comprehension

Anyway... games ticks along at a solid 40-50fps on my 4 year old alienware so I assume the problem is you

katsuragi you appear to be the one that didn't read. I updated it and said it runs at 60 FPS fine with the Steam overlay disabled (over 200 with VSync disabled) so it's obviously a bug. And yes, 24 FPS is unplayable on my gaming PC. If I wanted sub 30 FPS I'd buy a console. I worked a job to make money to buy the parts and built the PC myself, so no, I'm not a "spoiled kid." Jealousy is an ugly emotion. :D:

Then again... coming from someone who has only been on Steam for 2 years I kinda understand.

25fps is not unplayable on anything. It makes spoiled kids cry for sure.
Get a job.

Well if 24 FPS is "playable" to you why the hell did you waste your (mom's) money on an Alienware? Makes no sense. You're obviously just trolling now. 24 FPS is a slideshow not a game.

I like how I am a "spoiled kid" because I am successful in life enough to afford a far better computer than him. :D:

Exactly robomagon... lol. Considering I've been on Steam about 5 times as long as him I wonder which one of us is the "kid" here?

Well, if his parents hadn't spoiled him so much, then maybe he would have studied harder and made something of himself.

Children children... please unbunch your panties.

It is not my fault that you are the wretched victims of your generation. Entitled worthless nothings who want everything all the time.

Just remember that your generation produced Justin Beiber.

The jealousy is STRONG with this one... What part of getting a job and working to buy what you want do you not understand? It makes me spoiled because I have a college degree and a high paying job that allows me to buy the things I want? No - it makes YOU jealous... and embarassingly so.

As far as this whole "children" thing... please. I'm probably old enough to be your father.

(Hey I found a buzz word we can just repeat over and over even though it has nothing to do with anything being said... "jealousy"... if we just keep repeating it we win!)

Yes... I'm jealous that my pc runs it fine .... :)

And no... you couldn't be my father.

It's a better buzz word than 'spoiled' and 'entitled'.
It's not as overused either.

And you're right. He wouldn't have raised such a worthless child.
