About the R18 rating this game has on the UK page...

This game is showing as having been rated as an R18 (restricted 18) by the BBFC. This is different to an 18 (pretty self explanatory in most countires) and a "restriced" (R rated) as US audiences would know it.

What it does demonstrate is that whoever researched and compiled the UK page doesn't know what they are doing, otherwise they would have realised that a R18 title is a reserved category for moderately hardcore pornography, that is only alllowed to be sold in specially licensed and registered sex-shops within the UK. If this were indeed rated R18, steam would be breaking the law by selling it.

In Australia we got the R18+ due to drugs in the game. kinda petty since out R18+ rating is a glorfied MA15+ with a black triangle.

I think the R18 rating was partly down to someone being very prudish on the extreme religious side of prudishness as in the original game description is or was listed Nudity, guess what that nudity is, Bloaters because they have no clothes on, a mad description for most of us but I guess someone took exception to it.

It's probably someone putting the wrong one on, as the game has been rated by pegi as 18.

If the expected hard core pornography is not included in my R18 version I shall be expecting a refund as it will not be fit for purpose. Of course, I may not detail the purpose concerned in my refund request... :)~

Definitely looks like a mistake - as far as I know, the BBFC don't even rate games anymore, it's all handled by PEGI.

I saw this nudnik remark posted in another discussion by a different user. I'm glad you took it upon yourself to deem it worthy of it's own thread.
