Relatar um problema com a tradução
The same can apply to your opinion, nothing personal. And the Devs already confirmed they are abandoning the original State of Decay of support.... Another motive why people is so pissed.
Hilarious. First-world problems, peeps. In some dark corner of the world tonight children with no food, no clean water, no electricity, no money, no home, no parents and no safety will fail to appreciate your sickening greed. Get over yourselves and get some perspective. You make yourselves look so ridiculous.
Yes I would love free stuff, infact I think we all love free stuff, but that's not the point. The point is I already own this game and it's DLC and to play the fixed version I need to spend $30 dollars to play it.
It would be like you bought a window pane and frame from me. I shipped it to you and all that arrived was the frame and some broken glass. You asked me to fix it. I respond with "Why you can still put it in your house and see out it so my reponsibilty is over."
Like I said before the people who already own this game should get it at a discount. Undead Labs is starting to remind me of the one hit wonder bands of the 80s.
Well, everybody wants free stuff. But nobody will take offence when a new game or expansion releases with a price tag on it, State of Decay YOSE is not a new game. It had a visual upgrade, some combat mechanics are tweaked and undead labs decided to sell this upgrade for 30 usd. The backbone of the game came from the original State of Decay, State of Decay:YOSE is just a fancier edition of State of Decay. Original state of decay owners should get this for free, or at least a 75% loyalty discount. I bought SoD with its dlcs for 10 usd last year, now undead labs is selling a glorified patch with the same story, same sandbox map, and the same game overall for 20 usd. Of course people are complaining.
CD Projekt RED did a visual overhaul for the witcher 2 and added in 4 hours of content, the original owners got it for free. We are entitled to updates for the game we bought, this is not greed. Get some perspective and stop your supercilious rant.
You think I'm being 'supercilious'? Most us here live in a world of everyday miracles - clean water on tap, heating/air conditioning, an abundance of readily available (and safe) food, secure homes and every other imaginable asset of a modern life - including our technology. But let's set that aside and address your other points.
Undead Labs never promised any of us a HD version of the game for free. Personally, I'm delighted they decided to revist the original game and remake it as a better version for modern gaming platforms. What was always one of the better 'zombie apocalypse' games finally gets the treatment it deserved and that makes me happy. I paid £15.40 for the upgrade to this new version - I spend twice that amount every month alone on my Sky TV service. It's all about perspectives.
Undead Labs have families to feed, too - they shouldn't be expected by cosseted gamers to provide all the work for no reward. They are not over-charging or exploiting anyone - they are asking a fair price for a new product (yes, a NEW product) based upon one of their existing IPs. It's a simple business deal. Nobody is forcing you to buy into their offering, but to accuse them of somehow 'denying you' a free game is ridiculous and completely unfair.
If anyone needs a sense of perspective it's people like you and the many others here who refuse to acknowledge a few simple economic realities.
Their families should have been well provided for with all the money they deservedly made from the first release of this game. They done the work and got their reward at that time.
They're asking for more for a game now than they did 2 years ago when they first released it. Doesn't seem particularly fair to me.
Slapping a sub-title onto a game and making a few technical tweaks and improvements do not make it a new game. It's a bit disingenuous to describe this as a new product based on an existing IP, when the fact of the matter is, including this re-release, said IP has a grand total of one title in its repetoire.
There's that "nobody is forcing you" argument again. A company shouldn't be in the business of forcing anyone to buy anything, they should be in the business of trying to convince their potential customers that their product has value and is worth buying - something Microsoft has singularly failed in with a lot of people here, by the looks of it.
TBH though I would have rather had SoD 2.
I apologize for my vague statement as u seem to miss my point.
State of Decay was released 2 years ago, it is a fairly recent title that did well and i enjoy playing it. The YOSE is just an small upgrade to the original game,
State of Decay YOSE= original edition + graphical improvements and combat system upgrade
I'm not threatening violence. I'm simply saying I miss the days when people "Could NOT" hide behind the safety of their anonymous accounts and keyboards while acting like faux thugs via the internet.
I long for the days when men had to be men because your mouth had better not write a check your fists couldn't cash.
I do, I do.
this ^^ +1
What the hell is this year one crap?
And we're justifying a rehash for the sake of justifying it? It's a pathetic business practice. 'Improved grpahics' big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal. Give us game changing features, what about multiplayer? What about something NEW??!
