why no coop or multyplayer

Does everything need to be coop and multiplayer?
This game focuses on the survival of your own little community of survivors that you customize and grow to care for as you continue to play and put 50+ hours into the game. If one of your guys gets killed after so many hours you rlly feel that you lost an important character of your group...
I think the game wouldn't be the same if they added coop and multiplayer :/

I don't think they're gonna do it man, they would've announced it...
If a sequel is in the making, that one will probably get it because everyone want those 2 things in their game nowadays

they have already annoucend a long time ago that they will not create a coop mode on this game, maybe on the next one

It's not just because of those 2 things, it's because this game is screaming for it, you already can coop with an ai, and if you have befriended an ai you can play as them.
And this is a remake, they just remade the game with higher textures and not adding coop, while people where screaming for it.

Cmon even Just Cause 2 got multiplayer by fans that like had 1500 players online in the same map the day mp came to steam, heavy latency yeah, but still world wasn't filled enough of us.

I've done it single player. Now I want to enjoy a decent survival shooter with my buddies because dealing with idiot A.I. doing idiot things becomes tiresome. I'd much rather have my idiot friends doing idiot things so when I curse them out, I'm not just talking to myself. Permadeath coop would have been sweet.

After hundreds of hours in singleplayer you start realizing that the A.I. is really lifeless.
They dont do anything for you and only hang out at your base crying , while you have to do all the ♥♥♥♥ for your community. You should at least be able to give them things to do , in other words mission and orders. I would also appreciate little things like characters gathering in the kitchen or Diningroom and not trying to avoid every other member of the community and crying in a corner. Btw A.I. just sits one meter from the the table to eat food on the floor WTF.
Coop and a way more difficult gameplay experience would make this game a Gemstone.

Would you prefer better graphics and new items , if you had the chance to improve the gameplay expierence instead by adding little things like deeper interaction of the characters and seeing them actually do something. For exsample washing dishes , cleaning guns or see them drive a car into garage to repair it and of cause hearing conversations that would last for hours.
People just want a coop , because then the community wouldnt appear so empty and dead from the inside. Admit it that you start freaking out after having heard only the hot radio chicks voice in the game. These things dont take much effort to improve.

It seems they prefer to sell you the same game with better graphs rather improve the fun by adding co op gameplay. I personally will NOT buy this game, because they still owe me a co op from the previous. If they think co op is not worth investing, QQ for them :D

They said in some interview wayyyyyy back that they didnt build the engine to support it and it would be a focus of state of decay 2... now that was back at launch of the xbox version on a twitch stream so i dont know.
