Steam Cloud Save
I'm having an issue with Steam cloud save. I am currently on my laptop, and it does not download my current breakdown save I have been playing on my desktop. It onlygives me the option to start a new profile. I have checked the properties and it is turned on, on both computers. Any suggestions?

Are you sure SoD-YOSE supports Steam Cloud Saves? Most games indicate on the Store page if they have Cloud Save support, and I can't see that option for SoD, so can only assume it only supports "local" saving...

There is a place to check under properties to use it and one of the devs on their site confirmed it was supposed to work. Other then that, it appears to not be working so maybe they are wrong

YOSE does support Cloud Saves. I had to uninstall due to crashing and when I installed again, I was able to continue from my cloud save. I wasn't from a local folder because I made sure I deleted everything that said YOSE from my PC.

Saves and settings are stored in your Steam folder

Somehow you missed this part. "I wasn't from a local folder because I made sure I deleted everything that said YOSE from my PC".

Those are in steam/userdata/abunchofnumbers/329430. There are no 'yose' or 'sod' or whatever, steam doesn't use names, it uses it's steam store IDs.

What I'm trying to tell you is that there was no Steam anything on my pc. Before I installed YOSE again, I had only one game on Steam, Age Of Empires The Conquerors installed so I deleted the Steam program completely. I had to install the Steam program and then YOSE so I don't know where the saved game came from if not from cloud saving.

Ok, that clears it.

I deleted YOSE from my laptop, and continued play from my desktop. Once I redownloaded to my laptop, it asked if I wanted the steam cloud save to download. So, something was screwy with my laptop install it seems. Reinstalling cleared it up.
