"The Wall" Mission Failed - Please Help!
I finally get to the very final mission of the game, "The Wall", and I get past the first wave of enemies and then the Army guy says he has to check the explosives, so I then had to deal with a second wave of enemies and I ultimately ended up dying and the mission failed. And now the mission isn't re-popping up anymore. I've put in 18 hours into this game. Please, tell me there is SOME way to be able to try to beat this mission again. So, then I can say I've finished the game and I didn't end up wasting 18 hours of me playing a game that I didn't even end up beating.

If there is no way to play the mission again, then that is the dumbest thing I've ever seen done in a video game. For you to only get ONE chance to succeed at the final mission (which is extremely hard to begin with) is insanely stupid! And if you die, then that's it! All the hard work you've put into the game has been for absolutely nothing and now you have to start over all the way from the beginning if you want another chance to finish that mission and the game. And even if you do have the patience to start over again, there's not even a guarantee that you're going to beat the game the second time you play it, because you may die again during the final mission!

I am pretty sure it can be attempted again, with another character.

It's been a whIle since I failed it, but you either have to wait some time, you you head back over to the wall again and the mission starts again.

But, if you run out of characters you can play, it may be game over. So be careful.

Update - After I died the first time playing the mission, all of my survivors were killed, so I thought I would get a game over and I'd have to start from the very beginning of the game. But, if you lose all your survivors, the game just automatically makes a new survivor for you and you just start from your last checkpoint. So, that was a nice and smart decision by the devs.

Anyway, so I was killed and the game made a new character for me. Even though the mission "failed", it thankfully re-popped up for me after I completed a "find a survivor" mission. So, it is NOT a "you get one shot at this mission and if you die then that's it" situation for this mission. Which is great. So, I did the mission a 2nd time and I did end up beating the mission and the game. So, I feel a lot better now. Thanks for the reply WillieSea.

Thats good to hear!
I never ran out of playable characters, so its good that new ones are spawned for you should that happen.
In Breakdown, I think its the end.
