Rifle to the head

Steel pipe bomb, then while stunned, finish with a couple shots in the head.

Without firearms: stand in front of something solid (fence, tree, wall) and dodge when it charges. While it's stunned from smacking into that that thing, pop up and hit it it 2-3 times, then move away. Repeat until one of you is dead.

kinda hard to do that when u have other zeds chasing after u but then woudnt a steel pibebomb just attarct even more zeds?

The jugg alone should be attracting more zed. Are you more concerned with a clean getaway than killing the thing? Just use a gun, kill the zeds, throw bombs when you can if that's what you want to do. Then get the hell out of dodge when you're done.

I find an automatic weapon chews quickly through their skull. :) Also, grenade launchers work super well.

I generally skip around the juggernaut while taking out the other zeds; when I have it alone I play the charge-and-dodge game. That is, if I don't have a pipebomb or gun that can just take it out.

I think it's fair to say that if you are fighting a juggernaut, the zed attraction level probably isn't your highest priority since it's attacks create a high level of noise as-is.

Haha, yeah. It'd be like slow-searching a CLEO drop so as to avoid drawing zombies with the search noise. :P

A good 7.62 automatic set to single fire mode.

It only takes 4-7 shots to the skull cap to kill them. If you can shoot them in the head while they are stunned, that seems to do a lot more damage and it will take fewer shots to down the Jug.

If you can get Focus Aim skill, that will ensure your shots are hitting the skull cap, and not the chin, or the ear, or the neck, or the house behind the jug.

Didn't see Grenade launchers mentioned above, apologies if I missed it somewhere.
2 accurate shots in quick succession and they are toast. All of the above suggestions and many more - the more Juggs you kill, the more you work out your own preferences. They are actually my favorite freak zed to put down.

Focus Aim is glorious for Juggs. I have started using it alot more on my less skilled survivors and they it's just awesome. Enough said :)

It depends on your environment. Juggernauts will charge at you every once in a while and if you make them run into something collidable like a wall, a tree or a signpost they will get snunned for a few seconds recieving bonus damage from melee attacks to the point that 2 stuns are actually enough to kill it - it will go down right after coming back to senses for the second time while you're hitting it if your timing is right.

You may play it safe and use assault weapons - 5.56 and above. Go only for headshots, jugg will go down in less than a dozen hits. You MAY use lower grade firearms like 9mm but you will have to shoot double (in case of .45) or even triple (for .22 and 9mm) amount of bullets.

DON'T use explosives of any kind AT ALL. Due to how spawning and attraction works it's only worth to use as a 'drive-by' when you toss a grenade inside an infestation and immedeately get in the car and drive away because 4 blocks worth of zombies will come to investigate the explosion and those who left spawn points will be almost immediately respawned so they won't stop coming if you keep making noises.

get a car, reverse the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right into the juggernaught..... problem solved

I like the Flame Fougasse. They're really cheap (fuel is easy to get mid game, and easy to make late game), and easy to use. Set one on the ground, get a juggernaut to charge with the mine in the path, and poof. Usually takes two, but it's much easier for me; I'm really bad with throwing bombs.

The main problem with Juggernauts is when you're hunting one or you're defending a besieged with one. Most of the time the other survivors with your will just run to it with whatever melee weapon they've got and just start trying to whack it. That does not end well.

And that is why I use the skill 'Focus Aim' to easily take the jugg down before he can attak any other survivors.
