Is there a way to fix the mouse?

I just got this game on Cd and downloaded it to my computer. when the ame launces i notcied that the menu highlights thing about an in above the actual cursor and it makes play the game difficult.

Your using the wrong resolution or aspect ratio for your display. At least that is what I understand the problem is when people complain about the cursor not lining up. There are several posts about that on this forum.

Yes, the aspect ratio is set wrong. WASD, space to select, move through the menu to the graphics options and change it to the correct setting (there are only two.)

my issue was the taskbar was vertical on the right.
I moved the taskbar down and the problem was fixed.
