Is state of decay 2 for windows 7 now?

a while back there was rumors that said that part 2 is only going to be for windows 10. if so, is it coming out for xbox one, because i am never using windows 10 lol. windows 7 is the better os imo

Quantum Break was also a Windows Store exclusive and came to Steam and Windows 7 eventually so I'm hoping the same will happen for SOD 2.

There's nothing on that page that addresses the topic at hand if I'm not mistaken.

The game may well be coming out in 2018 but it's highly likely that we, as eager fans, will continue to not know the status of either a Steam release or Windows 7/8 support until well after the exclusive XB/W10 release.

I was really looking forward to this game but can't help but feel that the game will be used as a pawn by Microsoft in attempting to push people onto W10. Even if the game does come to Steam eventually it may well still have a Windows 10 requirement.

It's just a bit frustrating to know that UL likely know the answers to these questions and are simply not allowed to answer them. I guess that's just business, huh?

The 2nd reply was you ignoring the Windows 7 question and saying "Of course it's coming out on Xbox One ".

The OP acknowledged your reply and then asked about W7 for the second time "hope its release for windows 7 though".

We know it's going to be on XB.. that's been well established. We're obviously interested in Windows 7/Steam and the link you posted skirts that topic entirely.

If you have any info on W7/8 support and a Steam release then I'd love to hear it JTT!

just have to wait and see what happens. I do hope they add character creation and customization this time around though with vehicle customization as well.

Steam, probably eventually, some time after initial release.

Windows 7/8, no. It is a DX12 game, and those older operating systems can't run it.

So you would rather provoke an argument than admitting you were wrong for calling me out for nothing and making me explain myself? He asked if it was coming out for Xbone. Regardless of how "well established" this is the OP wanted to know. I answered. Somebody else said there wasn't information about the game. I linked him to the FAQ so he can keep up to date when information does release.
