That's the base price. There will be a -20% launch discount for a limited time.

No, it's a platformer divided into levels. It does however reward exploration, with hidden areas and winding pathways.

Yes. Throughout the game you can acquire and equip different crossguards and runes on your metal body.

Typical first playthrough takes 3-4 hours. 30+ levels. No filler.

There are multiple fully fledged input methods. You can play the entire game with 

• a controller (both Xbox and PlayStation controllers are fully supported), or

• mouse and keyboard, or

• trackpad and keyboard (it works really well, actually), or

• Steam Deck touchscreen

The Lone Sword doesn't have the "Verified" badge yet, but it is fully optimized for Steam Deck, with smooth 60fps performance, good legibility, and complete support for both its physical controls and built-in touchscreen.

I'm planning to add more side content (optional levels) after release. Depending on sales data, new localizations will probably be added.

If you haven't wishlisted the game or tried the demo yet, there's still time!

As for me, I'm going back to polishing the 1.0 version for April 21st.

It's been a long development cycle, but it's finally nearing its end. After careful consideration, it is decided: The Lone Sword will officially release on April 21, 2026.

Even after countless hours of work, playtests can still bring in new feedback, and new elegant solutions can suddenly appear where you'd least expect it. This game, even though it felt almost ready for release a year ago, somehow got significantly better since then. I'm very proud of it.

English and seven other professionally prepared language versions will be available on day one. Gamepad support is complete and it feels great on Steam Deck. You can check how it plays right now with the Demo that is still available to download.

In less than a month you will be able to play the full game.
