Game Diagnostics
Reassembly has several built in tools for visualizing and modifying game performance. These are principally for development but they may be useful to players for reporting or working around bugs (or just poking around).

Console press '\' in-game (while flying or from main menu) to bring up the console

Cvars - cvars (config variables) control various aspects of the game. They are mostly for developers but players may occasionally use them to change settings for which no UI exists yet or to debug problems.
* set via the console: type "cvar kSplashAnimTime 0.0" and press enter. There is tab completion so you can say "cvar kSpl<TAB>" and it will expand a list.
* set via cvars.txt: Open C:/Users/<You>/Saved Games/Reassembly/data/cvars.txt in notepad or another text editor. Lines beginning with a '#' character are ignored by the game. This file is read in when the game starts - if there is a syntax error the rest of the file will be ignored and an error message will appear in the log.
WARNING - changing the value of many cvars can cause game crashes or hangs.

"debug fps|profile|stutter" - enable performance debugging overlay (run again to disable)

keyboard commands
F2 - take a screenshot
Alt-Enter - toggle fullscreen

Note: I am open to any modders wanting me to build a ship for there faction, I cant mod myself but I am good with makeing ships, how to do this?
1: Leave a comment on my profile
2:Friend request me
3:Tell me you want me to build a ship for your faction
4:Send me your factions Steam Page by clicking the Copy page URL button when you right click
5:Tell me how you want your ship to be made for
6:Let me make the ship (This takes around 5-10 minutes)
7:Wait for me to link it
8:Make the ship in the link!
9:Credit me when it is added to the mod in a new update

In just those steps, your mod will have a new ship!
(Note: The ship dosent need to be EXACTLY how I did it, if you didnt like something about it, you can change it, but still credit me, since you wouldnt have made it otherwise)

With the newest update reassembaly has gotten super solw i have a high preformance computer and was able to run everything smoothly on the highest settings.What happend?

We need a gun that can be customized, where you can add Recoil decreasers, Damage Upgraders, Range increasers, all dat stuff, Kinda like how FTD's cannons can be customized such a large amount, and the main problem I had with FTD is it was to complext, and sure, it would be complex, but it would work the kind of 'Easy to learn, Hard to master'
And the upgrades could add energy useage, so you could have a SUPER POWERFUL TURRET OF DEATH but would need so much power for it, also, this would be able to be used by any faction, Btw, To help combat this, there needs to be a block which shares power, and a block that recives power, so to help combat the problems with a SUPER DEATH TURRET, you could have transporter THAT ACTULLY WORK! :KSmiley:

I just want energy use for charging weapons to be proportional to the percentage of maximum the weapon is charged at firing. This way I can set my already-existing SUPER POWERFUL TURRET OF DEATH to have something like 15k energy cost.

Right now it's a flat energy deduction per trigger pull whether I charge up a nuke blast or fan the trigger for spamcannon mode. This results in needing to assign charge weapons a RIDICULOUSLY low energy cost, or to build my spamcannon ship basically as a flying powerplant full of generators and capacitors. I don't like that, because my ship goes boom at a gentle caress, then I start screaming 'what the gentle caress!?!?'

i dont know if this already exists or not but the ability to choos a nearby spawn point would be nice. right now im literally stuck spawning dead center in the middle of a storm of enemies that is impossible to esscape. i cant even move before i am dead again making that game entirely umplayable because i cant escape. i dont even know if they updated starbases for the borg so that you can actually make C units because this situation is impossible. also.. orry if this isnt the right place to post this but it is a suggestion.. maybe temporary invulnerability.. like.. 3 seconds.. maybe then if anyone else is stuck like that they would ot have to start completely over just to escape a hopless situation.

Just spawn as A TINY, FAST and HEAVY ARMORED Ship with NO WEAPONS, Then, Outside of the swam, You switch back to your old ship.
Then go back in there and REK SOM NEWB SHIPS

If that doesnt work, Just spawn in as a ship of nothing but Reactors, Guns(Lots of guns), and Armor (In that order) Maby you can shoot all the ships around you down, But it kinda depends on your Max P Lvl, if its higher than 2K then this Might work, but I never tested this one, so it could go wroung, But if you want to play the game with less of this happening, download this mod for Reassembly...
Furgie Oct 6, 2016 @ 2:36am Can also help with that, but if you get this you also probaly want a number of VERY hard modded factions, I can only be BARELY damaged in my ship when I use these mods.
Furgie Oct 6, 2016 @ 2:43am Thats my ship, it has 2 Major cannons, 3 Heavy Beam cannons and so many heavy and medium point defence its to hard to count...

I like this faction because it kinda has weapon mods, and it slightly changes the cannon depending on which upgrade you put in.

Oh, BTW the mod for this is down there \/
