lady and trish costumes? what? i haven't played the game yet, but them having alt costumes makes sense. so is this the alt costumes being added or is it MORE alt costumes being added?

As expected, it breaks the game if you have mods like super trainer v9 and ddmk 2.7.3 installed.

Edit: it's fixed by replacing the new exe with the older version of the exe that I got from the Super Trainer v9 2019 March Fix, which can be found around here in the Steam forums. And you need to replace the steam_api.dlll with the one included as well. https://twitter.com/Revolthell/status/1111325722772152322

THANK YOU! I updated the game and replaced it with the Mega file!

I also didn't know about this Super Trainer (I've used Fling's). So this was extremely useful!

Was able to test Infinite Devil Trigger/Motivation for Vergil and it works! Same with stop timer for Bloody Palace!!

I'm look at the options and wow these are look great!

I was actually pissed about this update since it may potentially break mods, but now that I've found this! I'm grateful Capcom did update this!

It also made me try to fix an issue I had with Reshade, which I was finally able to solve after more than 8 years (2015)!

Turns out, Capcom was stupid to put so many motion blurs on the animation (Sword swings, walking/running etc). It screws up Reshade if you install it (It would instantly blur the hell out of the game even if you just move a little).

Thankfully the hex guide fixes all of this! and now I can play the game at full speed with no motion blur sickness.

Make sure to replace ALL of the Motion Blur and DOF.

*Forgot to mention to use Google Translate and the instructions to remove blur should be straightforward!

Also playing this game on Dual Sense (THANK YOU STEAM for the new controller calibrations!). It feels surreal playing this game so good!!

I will now do another playthrough of this for sure!!

Also any other mod recommendations to use? I want some good looking Bloody Palace, Cool costumes/recolors for Dante/Nero/Vergil etc!

I still didn't see JPN voices (Like in PS4 version) as well as the Drink it Down OP (Unlikely due to licensing; was there ever a mod though?).

The update is ~200kb, there's no way there's any new content included. The only change I noticed is that the game now actually works with Steam Input (which broke for some, including me, when Steam replaced the old overlay with the new one). It's probably a compatibility fix
