I’m back from the hospital, and I’ve got some exciting updates to share Patch 1.1 is dropping on May 12th, alongside our launch on the Epic Games Store, and it’s packed with improvements, fixes, and optimizations.

Performance & Visual Improvements
Improved Shader Loading Reduced shader pop in for smoother visual transitions and better immersion.

Fog Settings – Lower fog density for improved visibility and performance.

Field of View (FOV) – Increased FOV to 65 for a wider view. (Note: some visuals might feel a bit different with the new shader setup —we're still fine-tuning.

Graphics Stability – Minor tweaks to improve overall stability and reduce visual glitches.

Texture Optimization – Game file size reduced from 23 GB to 18 GB, with no loss in visual quality.

Asset Optimization – Removed or replaced some heavy assets to boost performance and reduce load times.

Level Updates
Farm Level – Some assets removed/replaced. The second-floor camera now shows military talking over radio.

City Area – Cleaned up some assets and optimized layout to improve FPS and memory use.

Bug Fixes
Camera Glitches – Fixed camera issues when moving under the map. You can now pass through those areas without falling out or breaking story triggers. just a tip listen closely to the dialogue everything should trigger properly now.

Controller Support Work in Progress
PS4 controllers work best when launching through Steam Hub.

Some functions like crouch might need remapping please test and report anything broken!

We're actively improving controller support in future updates.

Version Display Bug (Heads-Up)
The main menu will correctly show GAME VERSION 1.1 – STEAM / EPIC GAMES.

However, the in-game version may still say 1.0. Don't worry — you are playing the new patch! This is a UI bug and will be fixed in the future.

We’re launching on Epic Games Store on May 12th!

If you've finished Version 1.0 already, jump into Patch 1.1 and see what’s changed.
