[Suggestion] New buildings, roles, and balance
Im making that thread in the lone goal to suggest new buildings, changes, and stuff. Hoping it will be taken in consideration even if nothing will be done :D: .

New Buildings


New "civic" Building: Temple
The goal of this building is attracting ghosts, to not have them scattered overtime
During daytime, people from the familly of the fallens (which didn't died in a natural way) will be able to pray to increase chances to have the ghost of their fallen familly members to be attracted by the temple. Praying will recover the social need, because praying will be done by interacting with a priest. Additionnal notes about Priests: They will Never fight and flee from God spells, storms, etc.

-Base capacity: 2 pawns Priest
-Building Size (VxH) : 6x5
-Pawn activities: Waiting prayers > praying themselves to attract other ghosts
-Base efficiency bonus at First upgrade: +10% social recovery rate with prays
-Upgrade bonus: Building HP, Ghost attraction chances and capacity
-Max Upgrades: 2
-Storage: Nothing
-Favorite Tool: None


New "Food and Water" Building: Slaughterhouse
The goal of this building is to reduce the already long todo list of cooks (Food Delivering > Slaughtering > Cooking)
-Base capacity: 2 pawns Slaughterer
-Building Size (VxH): 4x7
-Pawn activities: Food delivering > Slaughtering
-Base eficiency bonus at First upgrade: +10% Slaughter rate
-Upgrade bonus: Building HP, Storage
-Max Upgrades: 2
-Storage: Skin, Raw meat, Feather, Egg
-Favorite Tool: None


New "Magical" Building: Divine Battery
This building will be like the existing essence collector, the lone differences are: It will be smaller, it will store more essence, and will not produce any
-Base capacity 800 en
-Building Size (VxH): 2x2
-Upgrade bonus: +50% capacity +50% essence release rate when God's hand is nearby for collecting essence
-Max upgrades: 2


New "Magical" Building: Mage Tower
Pawns will be able to use ranged spells like Crystal golems. They will consume 2 new item called "Mana potion" which will be used as Fuel exactly like Quivers for Bows (Mana potions will be explained later with new items). And as weapon, they will use a magic wand, replacing the Bow slot.
During Daytime: Mages will craft several things using essense, During night time, they will defend the village, like the Ranger house, But its a crafting station and its not done for housing mages

-Base capacity: 3 pawns Mages (300 essences)
-Building Size (VxH): 6x8
-Pawn activities: Ressources Delivering > Crafting > Fighting
-Base Efficiency bonus at First upgrade: +10% Magical refining rate +10% Mages Magic damages
-Upgrade bonus: Building HP, Storage, Essence Storage
-Max Upgrades: 2 (At level 3, a small magic tower will be created in top of the Highest tower, It will use the stored essence in the building as ammo)
-Storage: Neutral Crylithium, Fire Crylithium, Poison Crylithium, Ice Crylithium, Magic Powder, Mana Potion
-Favorite Tool: Magic Wand

Craft List: (More infos explained Later)
-Neutral Crylithium: Refining a Poison, Fire, or Ice crystal will make it Neutral Crylithium, used for most of buildings, and Elemental defense Final upgrade for the Thunder element
-Ice Crylithium: Refining a Refined Fire, Poison, or Neutral Crylithium will make it a Ice Crylithium, used in Elemental Defences final upgrades
-Fire Crylithium: Refining a Refined Ice, Poison, Neutral Crylithium will make it a Fire Crylithium, used in Elemental Defences final upgrades
-Poison Crylithium: Refining a Refined Fire, Ice or Neutral Crylithium will make it a Poison Crylithium, used in Elemental Defences final upgrades
-Mana Potion: Refining the Magical powder layed by destroyed magical buildings will allow Mages to craft mana Potions. Used in the Quiver slots by mages for shooting magic spells
Each craft will convert 1:1 ressources, with an addition of some essence stored in the building


New "Magical" Building: Crystal Purifier
The goal to this building is to discharge crystals and crylithiums from their magical element. Discharging them will free SOme essence, like the Incinerator. But it will not consume the crystal and it will make it neutral
-Base capacity: +2 crystal refiner
-Building Size (VxH): 2x3
-Pawn activities: Ressources Delivering > Purifying > Refining
-Upgrade bonus: Building HP, Purification rate, Storage
-Max Upgrades: 2
-Storage: Neutral Crylithium, Fire Crylithium, Poison Crylithium, Ice Crylithium, Essence
-Notes: This building efficiency will be increased by 50% if near to a Crystal Refinery building (Same system than Dog house near Houses)


New "Magical" Building: Philosophal Essence Converter
The goal to this building is to make sure none of the essence is wasted (and flooding the screen, making sometimes the game more laggy because of all this floating essence. The process is simple. This building will collect and store essence (which will not be able to be collected anymore by God) And will convert it into rare ressources, such as Iron Ingots, Gold Ingots, Magical Powder and Gold Coins. It will consume dirty water to cool down the machine
NOTE: This building will have the last priority of essence collection. Meaning it will not collect essence automaticlly as long theres no essence next to the building, or as long other buildings aren't fully filled with essence

-Base capacity: +2 Converters (1500 essence + 10 Dirty Water Bucket)
-Building Size (VxH): 10x12
-Pawn activities: Ressources Delivering > Crafting
-Base Efficiency bonus at First upgrade: +10% conversion rate
-Upgrade bonus: Building HP, Storage, Essense storage, Dirty Water storage
-Max Upgrades: 2
-Storage: Iron Ingot, Gold Ingot, Magical Powder, Gold Coins, Essence
-Favorite Tool: Magic Wand

Craft List: (More infos explained Below)
-Magic Powder: The pawn will work hard and use 75 stored essence in the building to create 1 unit of magic powder
-Iron Ingot: The pawn will work very hard and use 100 essence to create 1 unit of Iron Ingot
-Gold Ingot: The pawn will work very very hard and use 150 essence to create 1 unit of Gold Ingot
-Gold Coins: The pawn will work very very hard, and use 200 essence to create 1 using of Gold Coins Sack (worthing 250gold coins of course)




Major Changes


New Crystal mechanic:
We saw different crystal colors in our worlds, but they all have the same uses. Cyan, Lime, Orange, and Purple. The idea is to give them an interest in their color
Each crystal will now have a proper element depending their color:
Cyan: Ice
Lime: Poison
Orange: Fire
Purple: Neutral
Their Transformation, use, and refining process is done with the Crystal Purifier building, and the Mage Tower building.


AI Changes:
-Preventing Cows and Deers to eat meat (seriously its silly :D)
-Preventing Cooks to slaughter animals because of the Slaughterhouse integration, and inverting the cooking and delivering priorities
-AI pawn item collection radius: Allowing the player to choose the item pickup range from several choices: Village Radius | Corruption Resistance Radius | Anywere (corruption excluded)
-AI pawn interaction limitation: Allowing or preventing pawns to destroy terrain / digging on grounds despite monsters presence (making them safe like how it is now, or making them more suicidal like before)

Other changes and addons
-Adding the 5th type of road only available in Map editor and already builts on maps
-Making pregnant womens to make birth in the Hospital with a Doctor interacting with. To greatly reduce the newborn death, or even the mother's death. Death chances reductions bonus can be increased as Hospital efficiency bonus called "Death reduction" from Birthing"
-Adding the Magic Wand recipe in the Tool fabrication building. Costing 1 Plank + 1 Magic Powder
-Renaming the "Bow Inventory Slot" to "Ranged slot", since the Magic Wand and the Bow will both be able to use this slot
-Renaming the "Quiver Slot" to "Ammo Slot" since the Quiver and the mana Potion will use this same slot
-Adding a very very small chance to make a fully harvested tree, crystal plant, or food plan, to drop a magical powder
-Be able to upgrade Cullis portals to increase the number of monsters we can drop before it overheats
-Allowing the last upgrade of the Static Tower to have an element between Fire, Poison and Ice
-Allowing rangers to Hunt animals even if theres not enought space in fences for keeping them. They will kill them instead, for sightly less food than if the animal was manualy Slaughtered
-Need more uses for the God Exp, Like using it to fill the Loot Chest bar for exemple
-adding a more precise clock, to know how many seconds/minutes are remaining before the next step of the day
-Preventing Trees to Spread/grow up on roads. (if the road is under construction, the tree will erase the blueprint)
-Lightly damaging unprotected pawn and monsters (not wearing a chestplate) which are walking on cactuses
-Allowing Multithreading to make the game running faster for late games, and preventing frequent freeze during road damaging, water filling/drying/freezing/unfreezing
-Allowing the autofile of ALL spells while Holding the Right click, like Flames
-In the population menu: Allowing to filter pregnant womens
-Extinguishing Fire Elemental while underwater or during rain. Preventing them to use ranged attacks and burning its targets with melee. Seriously this mob is unbalanced as hell in end game
-Adding a level 5 Road which will add 1 Crylithium in the Pavestone road to prevent Specters to walk in. The visual of that road will be the same than the pavestone road, with pavetones colored
-Pawn filtering for migration: Allow childrens | Allow Catjeets | Allow Nephilims | Allow Elders |

really like the hospital, divine battery and slaughterhouse ideas
what if Mage tower was a high level ranger lodge option?
not sure about the crustal types, many regions only spawn with one and it would be hard to get all
