Could you paste what was inside the logs? Even if there wasnt an actual crash, it may point to where Java decided to shut down.
If you have some hs_err_* crashes, those are when the JVM itself completely crashes out. Those could be handy too, although most of the time as far as RPC is concerned, those are usually caused by low memory or some external hardware/software problem.
The game crashlogs are in the /logs/ folder though. :)

Yup, that would be your graphic driver crashing, this dll. Not much you can do on your side, though, except running it with another card, for now, until the dev manages to reproduce it somehow. Maybe reserving too much gpu memory for those cards ?.
That's the good ole "Intel HD has terrible OpenGL support" crash. Sadly, there's no much I can do, because this crash is quite literally all Intel's fault. :(
But, there are some things you can do to hopefully get around it:
- Update your drivers.
- Put your laptop into performance/gaming/high power mode (Or whatever it's called, seems every laptop is different).
- If you had the game running in full screen, you can switch it to windowed. You'll have to do this manually by opening profiles/settings.properties and changing fullScreen to false.
If you still can't get it to run, you may be one of the unlucky ones. If that's the case, I'd go refund the game. Chances are you'll never get it to run. :(

hrm, check for a crash log in the root folder, looks like your JVM itself crashed. File should be marked as hs_err_pid*.
You can also try using the unstable build, and see if that helps.

Sorry but I'm not sure how to find the root file. I did find out though that I can play the game from launching it straight from the file location rather than Steam. Weird.
Root folder is the base install folder the game is in. :)
But, I'm glad you got it working. It's possible the Steam overlay is causing problems. I've had a few reports from users that the Steam overlay crashes the game, although it's extremely rare and I have not found a solution yet.
