24yr old game. 6.99
It looks..uh.. good. Lots of variation and uh..depth. at 7 dollars, you could probably get a ton of hours out of this. this game that was released in 1989, and being sold in 2014. for 7 dollars. not 5 or 3. but 6.99.

I'm..uh..excited. would love to hear from people that ..uh..actually bought this game. from 1989. for 6.99.

seems ..uh..great. should I buy it?

I still own the original 5 1/4 inch floppy disk's of this game but i fail to see why anyone would pay money for this game in it's original (and now very dated looking) form. I would be all over this if it was a remastered version but the dev's look to have done nothing to it. It's a shame as it was fun way back then.
Just have a look at this Amiga classic "Wings" in it's remastered form this is what they should have done to this game.

i ll wait until it gets 0.99, that would be a fair price

You don't need to wait until the price drops. It's a freaking abandonware game. It's has been 24 years since the game was released!!

On a side note, this game HAS to be remastered...heck, the armies combat levels have been already done in Total War: Shogun xD

It's NOT "abandonware". Where did you get this information? Just because it's some years old the rights don't belong to the dev or its successor? So where is the line? 23, 20, 5 years or maybe Alien: Isolation is also abandonware, because it's a week "old"?

Abandonware is just excuse for pirating. Don't fall for it.

@Rox you mean 5.25?

I played the game about five years ago. Had a good deal of fun with it in spite of its considerable age. I wouldn't say it is worth the price they are selling it at, but if it drops to a dollar or two, I'd recommend it.

Lol, you are right. I think the line is about 75 to 99 years, depending the publishing method...
At least get it on gog.com. It's 2 something with the discount =/

I'd rather save $5.24 and wait until Shogun Total War II goes on sale.
All games older than 5 years should be for free, this is the only way to save the market. Watch them indie titles fall down like a sack of ♥♥♥♥.

Id say a game would qualify as abandonware when the original developers no longer exist, thus purchasing the title doesnt actually benefit those who ones created it.
