Controller not working?

I have a gamepad and have selected it in options, but nothing is responsive. Controller is calibrating fine. What gives? Logitech F310

I am having the same problem with a Logitech F510.

I have a similar problem with my 360 controller, try pluging the controller in before you open the game.

I'm pretty sure someone on another thread mentioned something about a switch on the F310 that made it work. If I remember correctly, they had to put the switch on the "X" position. Might have been a different controller and I'm remembering wrong though.
Bear in mind, we only tested the game with PS4 and Xbox 360 controllers so far, so any models besides those might not work well.

On the bottom of your gamepad, there's a switch to go between X-profiler (or something like that) and Direct Input. Switch it to Direct Input and it'll work fine. (I think it makes it identical software-wise to a 360 controller or something.) I'd recommend playing in windowed mode as well, as for some reason the 'grab' buttons (face buttons) disappear in full screen.
