Would you be able to send your system specs to breadfeedback@bossastudios.com? All you have to do is press the windows key and type “dxdiag”, then click “save all information” on the window that comes up. If you could send me that file I can try to diagnose your problem.
Sorry you’re having trouble!
I tried safe mode once and it crashed, didn't want to test another mode because of the blue screen given before
If it helps I'm playing with a MSI GTX 970 and an AMD 6200 six-core processor, also using a xbox controller.
¿Any solution to this? Wanted to give some feedback about what is happening to me, I checked drivers and everything was ok. It's just that I'm annoyed trying to run the game properly xDD
Edit: The crash was during the game not at the start.
Hey there,
Well you certainly shouldn't be getting crashes or blue screens with those specs! The blue screen is often a sign of RAM issues, so there might be some issue with that. Firstly how much RAM do you have overall? Have you checked task manager to see how much RAM is being used in the background when you're not playing? There might be something running that shouldn't be.
The other thing you might want to try is verifying the integrity of your game cache, which you can do by right clicking the game in your steam library, clicking "properties" then under the "local files" tab click on "verify integrity of game cache". That'll make sure there's no errors in the files on your machine.
Sorry you're having trouble! Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this!
I have two slots with 4 GB in each at 1600 Hz (8GB overall), while I'm writing this it's used about a 22-23%. I used the verifier but anything was corrupted though. What's annoying me is that everything seems ok! :P
Launching the game with any language except for english crashes if NOT using opengl.
Changing the language while not in opengl mode crashes the game.
Changing the language back to english in opengl mode reenables directx mode.
system:
win10 x64 pro (build 10586)
nvidia geforce gtx 970
i5-3550
16 gb ram
Hey there,
No this isn't a known issue! It's not something I'm able to reproduce here in the office, have you verified the integrity of your game cache? There might be an error with some of your files, which could cause issues like this.
Sorry you're having trouble!
It took the issue post to find out that opengl works fine. I imagine that not using english as standard language in steam would have just given me the problem that only opengl works.
(I would have never found out that english is fine when every other language crashes).
Side note (I'm a programmer myself, nothing high profile though):
This feels like a dependency issue.
Do you add a Font that countains characters for every language? If not, I might not have the specified font with characters for the specified language on my computer.
All the other languages work with opengl.
I've bought this game yesterday, and tried to play. Sadly, every map is grey and has 100% on it. I can't even launch free roam mode, cause after I click it there is only "Game Modes" on the top, and "I Am" on the left. Only thing I can do is complete tutorial.
Hey there,
This is what happens if the game isn't connected to Steam for some reason. Are you launching the game from Steam or through a shortcut? If you're launching it through Steam and it's still happening then try completely closing Steam and re-opening it.
Other things that can help are
Re-installing the game
Re-installing Steam
Temporarily disbling your firewall
Let me know if any of these have worked for you. If they don't would you be able to send an email to breadfeedback@bossastudios.com?
Sorry you're having trouble!
