how does toast quality work?

what determins a drop or increase in toast quality i want to A++ all the levels but this requirment isn't clear.

Time, Edibility, Jam and other things that make the toast tastier helps. also getting 100% on both sides helps.

Hello guys ! Any tips on how to finish level 3 (bedroom) with an A++ ? Always loosing because of the "toast quality" (my max is 79 atm).
Everything else is ok, but don't know how to improve the toast quality (maybe with Jam ?).

you can either jam yourself up at the shelf next to the door frame, or you could cover yourself with liquorish candy things on the shelf beside the clothes rack thing. also having high edibillity helps.

I finally manage to get A++ on this level, but I don't feel that jam and candy help with toast quality (I tried both).
But I got 100% edibility, I think it helped.

i'm pretty sure it does i jammed myself up at the first 2 levels, and got 80 something eddibility and got A++ oh also i think toasting evenly helps aswell.
