Stuttering even with vsync turned on.
One of the worst programming in a videogame I have ever seen. Lazy developers.

Turning on VSync works if you have a 50/60/75 Hz display. If you have a display with a higher refresh rate, you'll need to cap the game's frame rate to less than 100 FPS. This will stop the stuttering/lag when encountering enemies.

What to do it with? NVIDIA Control Panel or Rivatuner? Lithtech.exe or tron.exe?

Wow. I never could actually lock the fps it's always around 500 fps with both of the solutions. I cannot lock the fps on this game wtf? Never saw anything like that.

The Nvidia Control Panel (stupidly) has two entries in the Program Settings tab by default, one named Tron and the other Lithtech. Which makes things needlessly confusing. Any settings you want to change have to be done in the Lithtech profile (lithtech.exe) for it to potentially have an effect.

The Nvidia frame rate limiter used to work with TRON 2.0 in older drivers, but it doesn't any more. At least, I haven't been able to find any way to get it to work with recent drivers.

RivaTuner works, but it doesn't like it if TRON 2.0 has Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode set. So disabling XP SP2 compatibility on both Tron.exe and lithtech.exe will finally allow it to work.

I tried using Radeon Chill (by setting both the Min and Max frame rate to the same value), but haven't been able to get it to work so far.

The most recent Adrenalin drivers are supposed to feature the return of FRTC (Frame Rate Target Control), but AMD seems to be restricting access to it to only certain cards, and not their entire GPU lineup.

So one of the only guaranteed ways it should work is to do the same steps TracerHD did, using RivaTuner (which is part of MSI Afterburner, for example).
