I may be misremembering but does the tutorial say specifically what are the upsides and downsides of ecology?

I just played the second mission of a run and got destroyed... I didn't want to leave a negative review as I know this is a small indie game but difficulty levels are probably warranted if difficulty is going to be that high at the base level. Or even just have an intro message saying, "get ready to be demolished" and have it in the store description that this is one of those hardcore games....

I think the story/concept of the game is cool. After playing the demo, I think the real time clock is unnecessarily cumbersome. I would instead go to a round/wave based system, each round you gain x resources based on your tiles, can build your base, make repairs etc. then start the next wave. Just food for thought.
