Xbox One controller not working correctly

Has anyone else gotten this working with an Xbox Elite controller?

Right stick shoots correctly in the menu, but does nothing in the game itself. The right trigger also doesn't speed up the ship.

I've tried different usb ports, recalibrating using the Xbox Accessories app, nothing makes the right-stick shoot in the game itself. Same issue was present in the tutorial, although that would occasionally let off a single shot or two.

The controller is working perfectly in every other thing I've tried today.

You can get it to work. I had to get rid of the binding for skipping the music tracks and do some other things. It was a long time ago when I fixed it so sorry but I will tell you that if you mess with the settings, it will eventually work.

Does anyone have a fix to this issue? I'm having the same problem with the right stick not shooting during the game. The ship speeds up fine for me. I'm using a wired Xbox 360 controller.
