Anno 117: Pax Romana

Anno 117: Pax Romana

Will this still be released?
I love the Anno games and have been looking forward to this one. But with Ubisoft's financial issues, and tencent getting involved, I'm worried about the release. Is it still on track?

The project is very much on track for a release this year.
We know you've been waiting for something more concrete and we'll have news on that soon.

Will the DLN system be a little less convoluted so that there's less overlap between individual dls and packages?
No leak gameplay at this point is telling everybody this game just got started. Maybe holiday 25 or first quarter 26

Bro if this game just got started, you wouldn't see it until 2028 :D

in what world no leaks means - there is nothing?

Having no leaks primarily shows that we have a fantastic community that respects their NDAs when playtesting ;)
I hope you guys gonna be a smart and give it that extra 1q/2q delay into 26 to give it the finest polish or some special added mechanic like (we need legions on landrealy badly for it to be a true roman Anno). I think the Roman periode is perhaps the most wished Anno variable. make it or break it here. :D

Long TERM must have DLC. Make us have our secret barbarian faction (A) or even do a late game DLC pack changing into christianity and as cherry on top make the splitting of christianity (Rome / Constantinope (Catholosism/orthodox) aka great schism.

Ofcourse you may thank me by that time for the huge money making DLC's which I ofcourse claim 1% of the profit from. XD (JUST FREAGIN DO IT)

no need to delay if the game is ready by the planned release date lmao

What new game hasn't gotten any leak gameplay that's ready to release? This game was only announced last June. It's not going to be released this year. There is nothing but couple of pics. Absolutely nothing released by them. Not even the different working classes they will have. No production lines just curved roads. Not even gameplay of them laying the curved road down. Time is ticking. It's only 6 to 7 months till release date if it's this year and nothing. So yes leak gameplay tells people that this is actually in full production and almost completed.

Nobody respects ubisoft. Good try. You just haven't had any real playtest.

OP, I wouldn't count on it. Ubisoft may well yet go out of business... and right soon too. Who knows which studio, if not all, will close next? Even the employees won't know till it just happens.

Even if Ubi shut down or got sold - this game is too far in development to just close it IMO. In the worst scenario the IP would be bought by some other publisher and the game would be released. Possibly rushed and unfinished, with no further development / DLCs. But still it would be released
