Someone did their homework. With the empire at its greatest extent in 117, it's a perfect choice. Right at the height of the most stable period of the Pax Romana. I'm already impatient to play.

I agree, but I'm surprised they didn't go with the 300s considering all the troubles, but I guess most of their troubles were in Northern and Western Europe so not much sea faring.
