Shouldn't it be "AN Ubisoft"...? Yes. Yes it should.
What's up with that?

I think it's pronounced different though so A is correct. It's easy to remember though, because if you hear about a Ubisoft game then you be soft.

No. I do not pronounce it as a Y.

It's supposed to be "An Ubisoft..."

Thanks, though.
No, you are wrong. Neither do you say "an unit" for example. Jipopotamus is right.

Yes, I am correct. Vowel sounds get "an". "Younit" isn't a vowel sound. Ooohbisoft is a vowel sound.

It's AN Ubisoft... Because it's not pronounced "youbesoft".

I'm correct. Thanks for playing.

You're ofc welcome to use any pronunciation you prefer or whatever way feels more comfortable to you.

However, as the official pronunciation (in English language) for their own name is defined by Ubisoft, you'll have to live with the "you-be-soft" pronunciation, and accordingly the "A Ubisoft Original" title.

Thank you, closing this thread.
