Resolution problem ?
Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your future answers !

I get a little problem when I'm starting the game : the resolution is very low (640 x 480). On the other hand, the steam page of the game says "720p". I wanted to know if it's "normal" or not, if I'm the only one to have this kind of trouble. It would be sad to not enjoy completely this adventure on my 1080p screen :P

Thanks you very much !

You have to make sure you don't click out of the game while it is loading up. Are you using more than one monitor?

press Alt+enter

It will be upscaled. Also I'm not sure where you saw 720p in store page unless it was the one of the reviews

The resolution is indeed 640x480 -- one of the more unfortunate technical constraints. Although it's not too big of an issue in terms of the pixel graphics it uses to begin with, what can be a bit bothersome is the stretching in full screen mode on some monitors (though some can change the mode to not stretch with the built-in monitor settings). Fortunately though, I think it is fairly easy to get used to after playing for a bit.

Where does it say 720p on the Steam page, though? I've never filled out anything like that; if there is, I should definitely go get that fixed.

Edit: Also, a bit crude of a method, but I actually often played with Windows magnifier (start key and "+" to activate) in windowed mode, which is activated by alt-enter as MDuh posted. c: Just throwing alternative methods out there.

Under windows requirements. While this isn't explicitly saying the game is in 720p, a 720p monitor being required for windows would make one think it is in 720p.

Why is there a constraint about the resolution ? Great little story by the way, looking forward for the next episode.

This game was created with RPG Maker XP. While being a great tool to create games, it's very old and has some limitatons that feel strange by todays standards.

Thanks for this fast answers :D

There is no real constraint about it, I wanted to be sure to have the best experience with this game. It's a little bit annoying because, even if the game is in full screen, only 20% of my screen is used. Bad thing for the immersion :/ Besides, To The Moon was upscaled to my native resolution.

No big deal ! :D Tonight I'm enjoying this game anyway. I need to live beautiful moments in this hard period for me ...

Have a nice day
