Interesting what you said about the windows patch with better resolution. I like the game the way it is, but would like to see the enhanced version :)
This is why I paid for it over playing freecol
I also still play Civilization II, Civ3 and newer changed too much and I feel they aren't as fun as 1 and 2
I found freeciv outright better (unlike freecol): multiplayer similtaneous turns, optional hex maps, lots of game customisation.
Civ 5 is a different game to earlier civs and at least worth a try, it plays different, i had different fun. I think it learned from freeciv.
Where I can find this mod? im 100% interested
I been playing Col since the 90´s and its by far the game I have played most. The new version and freeCol are nice games but they are different an they are played different than the original one.
I still play the original sometimes and for me its like playing a card solitarie, so when this version was released I bought it just for have it on steam.
I wish also that they based the steam version in the Win version which had better resolution.
But Freecol is decent and way better than the remake civ4 colonization. Because the remake is utterly ♥♥♥♥.
If you learned it in a forum and not from "officials" or "publishers" then you and they are soarly mistaken and you can be sued for thousands of dollars. Copyright remains copyright for 75 years not 20 years. Thus you are vilating the law downloading it for free. Just FYI you can do whatever you please but the do make "examples" out of some people to show that it is possible to be sured for what you are doing.
I'm not Roar, but I'm about 95% sure that comment was sarcasm.
